Currently working with Al Futtaim Group (Automotive) as a Treasury Specialist ( from July 2015)
My main responsibilities include:
• Providing advice and guidance to Senior Management of the Automotive Group on Treasury related matters
• Supporting the Treasury Manager in maintaining first class relationships with various stakeholders including
• Financial Institutions, and exploring financial products across the MENA region
• Management of the Borrowings & Facilities portfolio, both Funded and Unfunded
• Liquidity Management (including FX liquidity)
• Oversight of Daily Cash & Bank Position Reporting for the Automotive Group
• Cash Flow Analysis
• Management of Bank Guarantees; including vetting of terms, issuances, closures and reporting.
• Management of Outbound and Inbound Letters of Credit (including SBLC)
• Vetting of and structuring both Inbound and Outbound LCs/SBLCs
• Oversight and Management of the Intercompany Loan Portfolio
• Risk Management including FX. risk, Liquidity risk, Counterparty credit risk
• Assisting the Treasury Manager in negotiations with Financial Institutions on pricing and facility agreements
• Providing Treasury support for launch (or acquisition) of new entities
• Review of Capital Structures for Automotive Entities
• Optimization and close review of Finance Cost
• Development and improvement of existing processes

• Represented the Automotive Group during design and implementation of a Group wide Treasury Management System.
• Documentation of a Treasury Manual incorporating Standard Operating Procedures for Treasury Activities
• Standardization and overhaul of Bank Signature Mandates, covering 200+ bank accounts

Worked with Blue Button Media; my main responsibilities and achievements included:
• Handling the accounts of the business. Constructed the entire Financial Reporting & Bookkeeping Infrastructure.
• Currently spearheading a project that would see a chain of Health Cafes open across the UAE.
• Monthly P&L reporting along with reports on profits on specific projects.
• Managing Payroll including for free-lance promoters/models working on different projects on different payment terms.
• Succeeded in securing clients for the company with a few big names being Western Union, Emirates NBD and Samsung.
• Secured contracts with major suppliers and negotiated credit terms for the same; a shift from the company's policy of being able to deal only on cash, enabling the setup of a reliable & effective Supply Chain.
• Led various campaigns to distribute excess sampling inventories in Labour Camps and Charity Organisations.
• Scouting the market for best quality supplies and client ‘special requests’.
• Working in Sara Furniture L.L.C. since July 2006. Have assisted in all areas of operations including but not limited to:
- Handling the accounts of the business.
- Communicating with suppliers and negotiating the best possible deals with the same, including best payment terms and making sure the quality is constantly controlled.
- Dealing with customers both retail and corporate; handling their queries, handling their special requests, negotiating best orders and payment terms.
- Handling deliveries and other business operations.
- Scouting the market for better deals and products.
- Marketing and exploring the market for corporate customers.
Have successfully completed the ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) in February 2014 with majors in Advanced Financial Management & Advanced Performance Management. My membership was awarded in December 2016.
