protection of the environment and Operations performance, by providing engineering professional
and technical leadership to the maintenance function in the factory.
• M&I. Enable high performance Operations, providing assets' Maintenance according to the Nestlé
Strategy by using MPCS .
• LOTO champion, Engineering compliance champion, and backup for LDV pillar champion
• Budget Management. Built the maintenance budget (zero base), ensuring justification, request,
implementation, reporting and tracking in line with Guidelines
• Industrial Services. Ensure that the needs of the factory are fulfilled, as per Production
requirements. That all utilities that come or may come in contact with product are treated
according to the acceptance food safety criteria for product/processes
• Energy/Water/SHE Management. Ensure optimum energy/water consumption at factory level, by
implementing proper M&I activities to the factory assets, and respecting SHE policies.
• Automation. responsible for the management of the factory Automation system
• Define the factory assets and mapped on ground with tags and represented in MPCS as FLOC
• Execute ABC ranking assets ranking for business priority.
• Define Maintenance planner and established his roles at the factory.
• Ensure Process & Equipment safety for people, products and environment and that one exhibits an
attitude of absolute intolerance for unsafe situations.
• Make sure the technical store is operating in good condition by follow the general instruction
for storing materials (hygienic and non-hygienic) parts.
• Ensure that the basic work orders planning and scheduling routines established at the factory
level.
• Update the skill matrix for technical staff every year and create TCA (training, coaching, and
assessment plan) to close gaps.
• To maintain all machines inside PET area to improve productivity..

• Support the HOD with the electrical and Automation related issues.
• Carrying out routine scheduled maintenance work and responding to equipment faults.

Support new lines ordering, installation, commissioning.
Support Infrastructure Design of new lines/machines.
Maintained the highest levels of compliance to local regulations, international standards, 3rd party auditors and Nestle standards and Tools such as HACCP, NQMS, NCE, TPM, 5S, BBS, NGMP, BBQ, SAM, MPCS-W, etc.
Select and train plant staff and support employee performance reviews.
Review and approve daily, weekly and monthly reports.
Provide the technical support and knowledge to the technical team also Purchasing & Store Departments.
Ordering spare parts, & operation monitoring tools.
• Training for all the technical department employees for the Electricity and Automation system.
• provide technical support for the operation, safety, installation, and maintenance of the system.
• Support maintenance team with the electrical and automation related problems.
• make sure that all PLC/HMI backups are available and up to date.
• Aware the technical team of the Nestle electrical standards and electrical legislative requirements
within the market.
• Give authority on who is qualified/authorized to work on, or access electrical equipment and
installations.
• Follow and Update single line diagram.
• Allow third party and give access to our IT infrastructure to repair and commissioning our
instruments.
• Update and review the automation maintenance plan every year.
• Ensure electrical PPE and electrical safety equipment available for use by the electrical
technicians.
• Update Procedure/SOP for testing and inspection of portable electrical equipment yearly and
make sure it’s implemented by doing internal audit.
Positions: Automation Engineer
Duties:
Study project IO list & P&ID prepare for PLC/SCADA programs.
PLC Programming (Siemens Step7, MicroWin & TIA Protal):
Prepare UDTs, DBs, basic FCs & IO mirroring FCs.
Auto logic program modifications in Structured Text according to control philosophy modifications.
Prepare Auto logic in ladder diagram.
SCADA Application Development (Siemens WinCC 6 & 7):
Full application development: tags, screens, animation, object-tied & Global script (C& VBA), alarms, tag logging, trends, and reports.
Use advanced tools to automate application development (e.g. Configuration Tool & VBA).
HMI Application Development (Siemens WinCC Flexible 2008 & TIA Portal).
Test SCADA, PLC & HMI programs using simulator and on finished panel in the factory.
Control panel factory testing including preparation of testing procedure and reports for visual inspection, electrical checks and PLC IO testing, performing internal testing, troubleshooting and modifications, keeping track of modifications for preparing as-built drawings.
Other duties regarding in site testing and commissioning of project located in Jordan, programing PLC, HMI and SCADA of other types than Siemens (e.g. Moller-Eaton, GE Fanuc)
