Joined on the beginning of march, Vector Technologies is an IT Services company that deals with IT infrastructure, Systems, Networks, Security, Telephony and wireless solutions for Small and medium size companies.
Duties:
1. Responsible of the configuration and troubleshooting of all networking related tasks that includes but not limited to:
a. Routers and switches configuration (Cisco, HP, Linksys, D-Link, Ubiquity, Mikrotik ..etc.)
b. Firewalls and security solutions (Sonicwall, Watchguard, Fortinet, Paloalto, Cisco ASA. etc.).
c. Designing, Installation and configuration of Wireless Infrastructure for Clients using Cisco Meraki, UBNT, Aruba and Edimax devices.
d. WIFI Hotspot and presence solutions (IQ-Wifi, Purple Wifi).
e. IP Telephony Systems (Cisco CME, Asterisk, 3CX)
f. Technical documentation.
2. Configuring and implementing Remote Access using Cisco, SonicWall, Fortinet, Juniper, and OpenVPN to facilitate the teleworkers.
3. Engaged in an IT and Security Audit.
4. Responsible of doing site surveys for potential clients.
5. Participate in preparing quotations and BoQs.
Joined in May 2nd, based in Dubai IBT is a company IT support, infrastructure, Telephony and contact center solutions.
1. Network configuration and troubleshooting.
2. PC health and performance maintenance and monitoring.
3. Domain configuration (Users, Computers, OUs and Group policies).
4. Operating system installation and maintenance.
5. Anti-Virus installation and updates.
1. Providing first line of network troubleshooting
2. Assisting with project scope development.
3. Monitoring network performance using various monitoring tools from different vendors.
4. Providing daily operational support and system administration for core network infrastructure.
5. Involved in developing Networking procedures and documentation.
6. Configuring Cisco Routers, Switches, and Firewalls.
7. Participating in 24x7 on-call rotations.
8. Ensuring that service level agreements are met.
9. Managing network infrastructure.
10. Responsible of the configuration of different types of routing protocols such as RIP, EIGRP and OSPF and their coexistence.
11. Responsible for configuring and troubleshooting of Remote access and L2L VPNs.
12. Responsible for configuring and troubleshooting of HA (High Availability) on different platforms “Cisco routers, Cisco ASA Firewalls, Cisco switches (VSS), Phion firewalls(barracuda)”
13. Responsible for configuring and troubleshooting F5 Big IP and cisco Load Balancers.
14. Responsible for configuring and troubleshooting of multiple types of firewalls (Cisco ASA, Juniper SRX, StoneSoft, Phion.
15. Responsible of different types of switches protocols such as Vlans, Ether-Channels, port security.
16. Authentication server configuration “Cisco ACS Tacacs, Raduis”.
17. Scheduled backup of the network devices.
18. IP addresses assignment and topology documentation.
