-Technical Team leader, managing the technical department work flow for a lighting brand that provides indoor/outdoor fixtures range. Vicelighting, Arlus.

-Responsible for new products optical, electrical (control) performance.
- Responsible for providing a complete lighting project documents for submission ( offer, datasheets, compliance, testing certificates, Lux studies...)
- Supervising the mechanical/electrical aspect of standard product.
- Handling sales requests and getting in contact with client to sort out technical/ commercial issues.
-Studying market needs to adjust standard products and initializing new designs to fit both production/factory capabilities and target prices.
-Responsible for providing custom made products based on customer requests.
-Responsible for lighting projects process flow such as tendering, project design, product design, customization, costing, delivery...
-Managing a team of lighting design engineers providing support and guidance.
-Responsible for outsourcing new (Chinese) products related to lighting and validating technical specs. Creating an identity brand with a full range of luminaires.
-Involvement with other departments as sales, logistics, procurement...
- Select the appropriate product based on the lighting design specs or sales team proposal.
- Prepare quotations for clients based on Sales team request.
- Prepare and/or supervise/check tenders’ design prior to submittal to clients
- Generates lighting calculations and studies (as applicable).
- Provide technical assistance to staff and customers (if necessary).
- Consult suppliers for technical guidance and / or support in the product selection process.
- Lighting product selection from available suppliers according to specifications (IP rating, power
consumption, installation type...).
- Designing lighting project and preparing ready for tendering BoQs showing detailed specs and pricing.
- High exposure to high end lighting OEM suppliers (LED chips, drivers, heatsinks...)
- Handling all repairs for failure fixtures being able to replace faulty parts.
- On site inspection and installation supervision.
- Examining new systems (emergency systems, dimming systems) and doing site programming to the convenience of the clients.
- Acquiring high knowledge in technical details of lamps and luminairs.
- Dialux calculations for new design projects and issuing reports (output) and recommendation for
designed projects.
- Creating AutoCad lighting layouts, 3d models, dialux evo renders, photoshop lighting effects.
- Applying modifications on designs and plans (Autocad, Dialux, BoQ…) compromising budget and product availability and applicability to solution.
-Home Automation (European product).
-KNX, EIB (universal product).
-Audio distribution.
-Access control and intrusion.
-Proposing solutions.
-Preparing final and ready for execution AutoCAD design and electrical drawings.
-Load schedules studies.
