• Review and monitor contractor’s shop drawings, materials and method statements.
• Review and monitor Contractor’s procedures/ practices for health and safety.
• Record changes on site and Review as-built drawings/ submissions.
• Monitor contractor’s progress on site.
• Audit Inspectors work as part of Site QA procedures.
• Undertake detailed engineering design
• Prepare technical schedules
• Represent progress meeting at meetings with the client and other professionals.
• Ensure service and project work carried out within agreed deadlines and within budget.
• Ensure that appropriate service/design decisions met.
• Ensure senior staff is kept informed of important and relevant service/design decisions and The objectives of the company and the client achieved.
• Coordinate work with other members of the project team.
• carry out regular site inspections.
• Continually ensuring that practices, policies, strategy and services represent the client’s and Company best interests and that policy is in keeping with current legislation, British Standards and Codes of Practice etc.
•Monitoring and supervision of all civil works and construction in the project during working in all phases.
•Preparing reports and recommendation of all structural works with other disciplines.
•Discussing requirements with the client and other professionals like architects, surveyors and building contractors;
•Preparations of weekly, monthly reports and report to resident engineer all the activities.
•Monitor project progress and conduct reports for senior resident engineer.
•Checking and certify the quality of material delivered to site.
•To report safety violations to HSE Manager during works on site.
•Reviewing and commenting on shop drawings, materials submission, method statements Technical submission and inspection requests, Reviews standards for materials and equipment to ensure they are in accordance with the specifications;
•Responsible for the sites supervision for construction project consists (G+ 1) & (G+2) Residential and Housing projects in Abu Dhabi City.
•day-to-day management of the site, including supervising and monitoring the site labour force and the work of any subcontractors;
•Prepare, review and check change order packages; analyze subcontractors/suppliers approvals and other related reports.
•managing, monitoring and interpreting the contract design documents supplied by the client/architect;
•liaising with any consultants, sub-contractors, supervisors and the general workforce involved in the project;
•Ensuring all justifications for contractual variations during projects is maintained to support subsequent commercial claims.
•Ensuring all relevant safety objectives and legal requirements are observed.
Supervision of work in the project for Construction of high way bridge (Aga Highway Bridge) include road works and infrastructure works with total value of the project EGP 25 million, Supervised enabling work package, foundations and superstructure, retaining wall, infrastructure works and landscape.
•setting out, leveling and surveying the site;
•ensuring all materials used and work performed are as per specifications;
•Prepare, review and check change order packages; analyze subcontractors/suppliers approvals and other related reports.
•Prepare subcontractors Performance evaluations.
•Reports, equipment usage reports, material usage reports and similar actions essential to assuring the construction schedule is met and that the work conforms to plan; and recommends and initiates corrective action.
•Ensuring that safety rules and regulations are communicated to the workforce and are fully enforced.
Order materials and maintain register of all orders placed and confirmed.
•Carry out other relevant duties as required from time to time.
