* Identify hazards in the workplace and implement sufficient controls to prevent incidents.
* Monitor, coordinate and/or lead pre-tour and pre-task meetings.
* Direct and monitor the drilling operations and provide supervision and guidance as needed.
* Confirm accuracy of and submit Daily Drilling Reports for the rig.
* Confirm accuracy of and submit working hours for rig crew.
* Coordinate and monitor the mobilization of all company assets and rental equipment for the rig.
* Coordinate the purchasing and delivery of rig supplies.

* Develop and maintain a compatible working relationship with the Client Representative on the drilling location and report any conflicts to the management.
* Monitor any 3rd party activities that take place on the drilling location and provide guidance regarding Company procedures.
* Conduct performance reviews with rig crews as per the People Development process.
*Develop and deliver appropriate training courses, including all material, programmed course to meet operational requirements for internal Company' customers and external clients
*Monitor Bit Performance and Report trends to Bit Company Through periodic Reporting..
* Manage and Coordinate The Field Test Bit Program.
*Maintain accurate records of tubular and tool dimensions (i.e. internal and external diameter, fish neck, and serial numbers).
* Calculate ton-miles on drilling line; maintain an accurate logbook and advise on the need to slip and cut.
* Maintain an organized drilling equipment store and tubular and subs inventory.
* Maintain proper communication with the Company man, Toolpusher, and other department heads.
* Actively participate in pre-tour meeting with the drilling crew for all drilling operations.
* Assist with the preparation of equipment for impending drilling operations.
* Assist during an emergency or well control situation and well killing operations.
* Assist in supervision of Preventive Maintenance carried out on drilling equipment
* Assist in supervision the drilling crews for all operations.
* Assist in supervision of repairs on drilling and associated equipment.
* Assist in running and cementing casing strings, running and retrieving BOPs and risers, and other operations.
* Actively participate in the planning, organization and execution of rig move operations.
