Key Responsibilities:
•Ensure that the Passenger Boarding Bridge (PBB) is cleaned from arriving passengers and the poles are in place to block the arrival passage in order to avoid any moving of arriving and departing passengers or passengers from different flight.
•Position staff as required to direct passengers.
•Announce for boarding and start boarding passengers from AFT to FWD and allow priority boarding for J/C passengers and for Emerald and Sapphire card holders.
•Verify each passenger's identity by conducting a visual comparison of the photo to the passenger and by matching the name in the passport with the name on the boarding pass.
•Collect boarding pass from each passenger and ensure that each boarding pass has an E-Ticket number printed on it.
•If a boarding pass doesn't have an E-Ticket number printed on it check with the passenger if he has a ticket and collect the flight coupon.
•If he doesn't have a paper ticket, the passenger shall not be accept for boarding until his ticket discrepancy is resolved by the boarding supervisor.
•Each boarding pass shall be scanned using the gate readers.
•All collected flight coupons and boarding passes shall be placed in the flight envelop.
•Control weight and size of carry-on baggage: any excessive and bulky carry-on baggage shall be Removed from the passenger and labeled with the "Limited Release" tag, and the passenger shall be Asked if their carry-on baggage contain any of the dangerous goods items which are only permitted on aircraft as carry-on, and he shall be asked to remove all valuables, travel document and any other important documents from bag prior collecting.
•Collect baggage shall be loaded in aircraft holds.

CUSTOMER SERVICE:

•Cleaning of GSE, office spaces and aircraft.
•Marshall passengers on airside tarmac areas and walkways.
•Operate all company vehicles and equipment and perform maintenance checks.
•Ensure efficient delivery of bags to arrivals belt as per company SOP’s.
•Prepare for flight arrivals (catering, wheelchairs, GPU, barrow allocation, etc) as per PTS
•Provide assistance to other members of the RJ team as required or directed.
•Adhere at all times to operational procedures to ensure safety of staff, customers and aircraft.
•PERSONAL:

•ADMINISTRATION:

•Record fuel usage and maintenance checks on company vehicles.
•Ensure stationary and stock orders are adequate
• TRAINING:
•Assist with operational training of new staff as directed.
•Complete initial and recurrent company training as required.

Weight and balance calculation of flights and customer airline flights all over the world.
•Checking the planned figures of passengers, bags, cargo and mail doing the complete load planning.

•Ensuring the safe distribution of load within prescribed aircraft limitations and Company Operating Manuals/ Procedures.
•Monitoring the performance of the departure control system.
•Optimize aircraft load factor and balance by creating efficiencies through the use of different ULD hold versions and weight / load distributions. (ULD hold versions vary from one flight to another and can range from 10 to 200 ULD hold versions depending on the aircraft type).
•Responsible for providing the Captain, Flight Operations & all Airlines with required information such as estimated zero fuel weight for flight planning purposes and final zero fuel weight figures immediately upon flight closure to enable maximum fuel uplift and trim fuel transfer within ground time as stipulated by the airline.
