Electrical Engineer onboard the Self-Propelled Cutter Suction Dredgers CSD HUTA 14 (Total Power of 15, 680 KW, EX CSD URSA, Pre-owned by ROYAL BOSKALIS) and CSD HUTA 12 (Total Power of 23, 545 KW, built by ROYAL IHC in 2014).
Performing the necessary troubleshooting, repair and maintenance for all electrical equipment’ onboard the dredgers as recommended by the equipment manufacturer and listed by the international standards, including, but not limited to the following:
• Alternators with rated power up to 4700 KVA
• AC Induction Motors with rated power up to 4200 KW
• DC Motors with rated power up to 2200 KW
• DC Drives (SIEMENS SIMOREG 6RA21 in combination with SIMATIC, SIMADYN and SITOR)
• AC Drives (Air-Cooled ABB ACS 600, Water-Cooled ABB ACS 800 and Liquid-Cooled VACON NX)
• PLC (SIEMENS S5 & S7 and Allen-Bradley ControlLogix 1756-L7x)
• Hydraulic Systems Automation
• Pneumatic Systems Automation
• Diesel Engine Automation (MAN 9L32/36, MAN 8L32/40, MAN 9L32/40 and MAN 9L48/60CR)
• Controlled Pitch Propellers and Azimuth Thrusters
• Power Air Circuit Breakers
• Air Conditioning Systems
• Navigation and Communication Systems
• SCADA and Integrated Alarm Systems
Provided hands-on technical support in installation, commissioning and servicing of various marine electrical and automation equipment. This includes, but not limited to the following:

• Terminal Automation System (TAS) replacement for TOTAL Cairo Fuel Terminal
• Tank level gauging system calibration for Cairo Metro Service Stations
