Maintenance of all equipments e.g Valves Line up from mud tanks through the pumps to the monifold heading to well Measuring mud weight and maintain the weight required. Nipple up and down 10, 000 psi cameron BOP(Blowout preventer) Running completion and assisting in fixing the x-mas tree and test as required. Monitors & initiates corrective actions through multiple field safety systems, fire & gas & ESD for all Wellhead platforms.
Co-ordinates with Wireline operations, preparation of the wells and testing, ensure smooth & safe operation. Reports any incident anomaly, unsafe acts, near miss, spill, injury etc & highlights all incidents in safety talk. Responsible in monitoring of pumps, air compressor, air conditioning and all other rotating equipments. Align pumps and pipelines to transfer arrived fluid tankers to reserve location tank. Loading backloads and offloading arrived loads. Observing any gain or loss of fluids. Repairing pumps and changing liner and pistons. Excellent knowledge of artificial lifting wells by gas. High pressure gas wells (10000 psi). Redressing and replacing of Oil & Gas chokes. Responsible in first level maintenance on all systems and associated equipment. Line up wellhead for killing or testing operation. Calculating full cycle of fluid in and out of the well. Align for cementing or acid job and many more. Reports to Rig Manager. Working as a Derrick Man at owned Rig in the Buhasa desert. Align pipes and secure its foundation and connection to the other pipes. Set up pipes and transporting drills and service rigs on the lower deck or under land surface. Operate and maintain drilling rig diesel motors, transmissions, pumps and drilling mud systems, and mix mud chemicals, cements and additives Read gauges to monitor pressure, density, rate and concentration and adjust pumping procedure as required. Calculate the dense and volumes of oil and mud Recording mud density and volumes. Ensures that operations activities are conducted in compliance with safety & environmental protection procedures. Ensures that the personnel, equipments and services are appropriate to the operational requirements. Ensures proper housekeeping and the work place is left behind in correct & orderly state upon job/shift completion. Reports any incident anomaly, unsafe acts, near miss, spill, injury etc & highlights all incidents in safety talk. Ensures all safety equipments are in good working condition. Follow up of routine shift activities, ensures high level of safety. Assist the Drilling team in the smooth operation of drilling new wells. Induction and training of newly hired Roustabouts. Participated & played successful different roles/duties in company Emergency Response Organization. Participated in drilling of High pressure gas wells (10000 psi). Participated in different scenarios of safety drills. Good Knowledge of Drilling tool, equipments, Wellhead X-mass trees and B.O.P. With my advanced knowledge of all drilling tools and equipments, I managed to ensure every task runs smoothly and safely as scheduled. My knowledge and experience of Gas detection device usage enable to part of many projects being accomplished in the sites. Deeply involved Fire fighting safety drills which have impressed me and gave me courage to be part of the Fire Fighting team in my company. Good knowledge of Pumps, compressors and rotating equipments.
