Able to practice the Triaging system effectively.
- Able to perform the primary& secondary survey &perform the initial resuscitation measures
of the traumapatient
- Responsible for applying hand over properly.
- Perform minor surgical dressing using aseptic technique.
- Assist doctors in performing procedures under aseptic technique.
- Follow clinical pathways as defined in ER Protocols.
- Assist in code blue (CPR).
- Work with paramedics and attend ambulance calls when required.
- Perform and document initial patient assessments (nursing history), summarize data, state
nursingdiagnoses/patient care needs and ongoing assessment in a timely manner.
- Observe and record signs, symptoms and behaviors including the physiological status of patients.
- Be familiar with using technological equipment’s in the ER unit as mechanical ventilator,
cardiac monitor, infusion pumps, defibrillator…etc
