• Supervises the facilities engineering section and Multi discipline Engineers to execute the Facility projects includes conceptual and basic design studies, construction of Field Surface facilities (FSFs) construction and post contractor work. Construction related to de-bottlenecking projects, green/brown fields development, power plant and power plant expansion, development of oil wells, water/gas injection facilities, water disposal facilities and well as field processing facilities( FPF) and Central processing facilities(CPF).
• Supervises and directs the activities of assigned personnel in the facilities Engineering Section. Performs supervisory duties at the level established by management for the position.
• Reviews and approves submitted bids to be sent for invitation to tender. Recommends list of bidders to be considered by Technical Committee.
• Directs and participates in the technical evaluation of submitted tenders. Recommends contractors based on qualifications, specifications, and course of action scheduled and costs.
• Participates in the development of plans for new oil fields based on reports received by geologists. Includes analyzing, costing and determining feasibility of expanding fields ensuring full consideration of various obstacles.
• Researches and selects engineering contractors for major projects. Prepares qualifications specifications and timing. Qualifies various contractors based on job at hand and justifies to management accordingly.
Well experienced in Engineering & Project Management procedures to handle the projects with lead role, single point responsibility.
Manage and leading Instrumentation team of the PMC & EPCC contractors.
Experienced of verifying of reports includes monthly, weekly, performance and other reports as required by Project Manger / Top Management.
Well acquainted with oil/gas & petrochemical industry DESIGN CHANGE REQUEST (MANAGEMENT OF CHANGE) procedure from idea initiation until project closeout. (Idea initiation, screening, Conceptual design package, cost estimation, BED/FEED, Detailed engineering, final approval, procurement activities, site execution, mechanical completion, commissioning, financial closeout).
Experienced in budgetary quote, cost estimate preparation and project budget approvals.
Experienced in ITB, RFQ documents preparation, project strategy preparation and technical bid Evaluation documents preparation.
Experienced in Field Instruments and Control Systems selection, procurement activities and floating enquiry to the vendor and vendor follow-up.
Experienced in reviewing detailed engineering deliverables such as P&ID, Instruments Index, Instrument data sheets, Instruments and JB location layout, Instruments cable trench and tray layout, Instruments cable schedule, panel wiring diagrams and PLC, DCS, ESD & F&G specification, Control and Automation philosophy, Cause & Effect diagram, I/O list, Hook-Up drawings, instrument loop diagram, logic diagrams, ITB, RFQ packages, vendor documents, etc.
Involved in HAZOP study of various projects in order to confirm the hazards identified and classified and well avoided.
Experienced in participating in the necessary testing and witnesses FAT/SAT, as required, prior to shipment of equipment, providing assistance, as required, during installation, pre-commissioning and start up of facilities, advising on all instrumentation applications to management as required.
Experienced in preparation of Instruments Technical submittals & various Method Statements & Job Safety Analysis Record and work procedure for activities like instrument Loop checking, instrument calibration procedures, Instrument installation procedure, instrument cable termination procedures, fiber optic cable installation.
Experienced in conducting inspection of the bench calibration and erection of several Instruments includes Pressure/Differential Pressure, Level and Temperature Transmitters, Pressure/ Differential Pressure Gauges and Pressure Switch.
Practiced in the erection inspection and on-site Configuration and calibration Flow Meters and function and loop checks of Pneumatic and Hydraulic Control Valves, and Motor operated Valves.
Experienced in the Preparation of Non-Conformance Report (NCR), Quality Deficiency Report (QDR) and Field Design Change Notice (FDCN) as well. Prepare correspondence to Consultant, Sub-Contractors and Vendors.
Experienced in Managing and leading subcontractors and vendors of Instrumentation construction team, arranging and solving the interfaces issues.
Experienced in the Perpetration of reports includes monthly, weekly of Instrumentation & control progress in each project.
Participated in Factory Acceptance test at the equipment vendor which includes DCS System, ESD System, F&G System, Metering System, Control Valves, Shutdown Valves and SCADA system.
Experienced in the Pre-commissioning activities at site such as loop checking, DCS functional check (SAT) and Trip Testing (ESD and F&G System).
Experienced in the preparation of Instrument loop packages for various field instruments.
Experienced in project mechanical completion walkthrough & punch list preparation, commissioning, startup and close out procedures.
