Lead a team with members from IT, Purchasing, Logistics to build the internal processes for placing orders with suppliers, receiving material, transfer material between warehouses and inputting all data in the ERP for better decision making and for an efficient operation.
Manage and constantly update a complex prices list comprising of more than 5, 000 SKUs based on new market prices. Price list is designed for 8 regions and for 3 channels.
Analyze suppliers’ offers and Place orders based on safety stock levels, moving average sales, up dated sales forecast and available material in the market.
Approve Costing of material in ERP after checking landed costs, materials, QR & received quantities. Guide the sales team on how to improve margins by sharing market sales information.
Approve discounts after evaluating market conditions.
Verify data entry of PA & PO in ERP (Dynamic).
Verify that all local purchase orders are complying with company policies.
Follow up shipping reports & coordinate with logistic departments in central warehouses to avoid any delay in receiving containers ( daily, weekly, monthly & yearly reports) .
Train new employees joining the purchasing department.
Follow up critical cases with custom clearance to avoid paying demurrage.

Follow up with warehouse and Sales Department to keep inventory at lowest possible level by creating reports.
Monitor the availability for certain items in branches and cover any item shortage.
Follow up purchasing with Purchase Manager (Emails, Suppliers, contracts data entry).
Negotiate prices & delivery with some vendors.
Coordinate payments and letters of credit with the Accounting Department.
Insure all invoices, and follow up claims with insurance companies and vendors.
Evaluate new products before purchasing.
Follow up wholesalers (qquotations, services and payments ….etc).
Find new customers and follow up current customers.
Search tenders (internet, newspaper, etc).
Administrate inventory team in branches (twice a year).
Provide samples for branches and customers.
Follow up Some tasks with the General Manager.
