 Organizing & running the workshop
 Ensuring machines are safe & tidy
 Servicing & repairing excavators both wheel/non wheel, wheel loaders & cranes
 Troubleshooting-Determining causes of operating errors, carrying out testing & rectifying faults
 Writing up details reports of all work carried
 Conferring with customers about inspection results, recommending corrective procedures, & preparing work order for needed repairs
 Advising customer about necessary service for routine maintenance
 Handling customer complaints
