- Make a review on contract documents including IFC drawings, project specifications, BOQ and figure out any discrepancies to sort it out at the earliest.
- Review Contractor submittals e.g.: Material Approval Request, Shop Drawings, Method Statements, ITPs, O&M manual, and as-built drawings in accordance with contract documents.
- Ensure that the project is running smoothly by Coordinating with other trade disciplines to identify and formulate practical solutions as the earliest.
- Review project mockups to determine the acceptance criteria, ensuring its fitness for purpose and compliance with regulations and client requirements.
- Prepare reports and correspondences required for technical and contractual concerns to employers, contractors, authorities, and other key stakeholders.
- Lead workshops and meetings with the contractor/specialists to identify and formulate practical solutions to the spectrum of architectural issues.
- Respond (RFIs) Request for Information/(RFCs) Request For Change, issued by contractor and solving the project obstacles facing the project work.
- Conduct performance evaluations, raising Corrective Action Requests (CARs) and Non-conformance Reports (NCRs), as necessary and ensuring its close-out periodically to avoid any abortive works can delay the project work.
- Train, guide and direct the subordinate site architects/juniors to ensure that all services delivered are according to the project requirements.
- Continuously following up and do all necessary actions to ensure that all progressed work can obtain authority approvals easily e.g., QCDD, KAHRAMAA, PEO, MMUP and AWQAF.
- To attend factory visits, witness third party tests.
- Preparing and updating lesson learned within the project period to be archived and recorded at the project close out phase.
- Reviewing claims and payments issued by the contractor and give technical and financial advice.
