Position: Quality Manager
Projects:
i. Algiers Refinery Rehabilitation and Adaptation (Oil / Gas), Algeria.
ii. IIC steel making Plant (500, 000 TPY), Beni-Suif, Egypt
iii. Boufarik 704 MW Power Plant, Blida, Algeria
Principal Responsibilities:
Understand organizational strategic objectives and the project(s) targeted performance levels.
Manage Quality activities of varying degrees of complexity on the project(s) to ensure management goals and objectives are met.
Provide functional leadership and technical/administrative direction to field staff for performance appraisals, goal setting, training etc
Generation, continually adaptation, and assurance deployment of the Project(s) Quality Plans (PQPs).
Assistance in development and approval of project (s) procedures, and Project (s) Execution Plans (PEPs).
Review and approve supplier(s) quality procedures, ITPs, and Quality Programs/ Plans.
Provide technical inputs for vendor queries, conformance reports and non-conformance reports.
Manage the project QA/QC resources
Create and maintain QA/QC templates.
Participation in major contract discussions related to Quality activities.
Representation of the project(s) during Quality audits conducted by the clients, management, or regulatory agencies.
Initiate and follow-up audit activities in order to verify and record the implementation and effectiveness of corrective and preventive action taken.
Assurance that Quality measures were complied with regulatory standards, industry standards, and accepted best practices.
Address training needs, carryout gap analysis, and develop training plans for Quality personnel assigned to the project(s).
Facilitate of SIX SIGMA tools for process improvement.
Support and track corrective / preventive actions.
Development, establishment, and enforcement of Quality metrics.
Measurement and analysis of Quality indicators for companywide aggregation.
Review Quality data, determine trends, identify improvement opportunities (deficiencies), and recommend Corrective Action Plans or Change Programs.
Facilitation of Root-Cause Analysis sessions and ensured proper and correct identification of the root causes of non-conformance.
Track and coordination of waivers and concession requests.
Review project deliverables for consistency of design elements across disciplines and compliance with procedures
Coordinate with certifying authority for renewals and re-certification of management systems in coordination with certifying bodies (ISO 9001, and ISO 14001).
Position: Field Quality Manager
Projects:
i. 12, 000, 000 TPY Integrated Steel Complex (Sulb), Manama, Bahrain.
ii. 1, 000, 000 TPY Rebar Mill for Hamriyah Steel Co. Sharjah, UAE
Principal Responsibilities:
Development of the Project(s) Quality Plans (PQP) in conjunction with the corporate Quality Management System.
Development and administration of the construction Quality procedures (ITPs/QCPs)
Energizing the Quality culture on the assigned project(s).
Reviewed subcontractor(s) documents for compliance with project Quality requirements.
Management of the Quality staff and testers directly.
Ensured verification/compliance with plans, specifications and best practices for construction activities of the plant(s) components (Scrap Yard, Consteel Electrical Arc Furnace (EAF), Steel Refining Facility, Continuous Caster (CCM), Reheating Furnace, Induction Furnace, Heavy Section Rolling Mill, Rebar Rolling Mill, Non-Plant Buildings, Water Treatment Plant (WTP), Main Structural Steel Building, and Infrastructures).
Coordinated the activities of Quality and interfaces with other construction departments.
Recommended elimination of waste and non-value added activities.
Development and administration the project nonconforming and deficient items control procedure.
Initiated corrective / preventive actions.
Recommendation of continuous improvement initiatives.
Development and facilitation of Quality training programs.
Captured and documented knowledge, opportunities, and lessons learned.
Issuance the formal closure report of the project(s).
QA/QC Civil Engineer
Orascom Construction Industries OCI/ Besix Cairo, Egypt.
El-Tebbin Thermal Power Generation Plant 350x2MW (Oil / Gas Fired Units) Project. South of Cairo Egypt.
Responsibilities /Duties:
- Prepare Quality control Programs (ITP) for civil works (concrete works, reinforcing steel rebar, concrete masonry works, production of bored piles, sheet piling works and piping works)
- Observe, check and document results of all onsite testing (piles compression, lateral and tension tests, plate load test, modeling of massive concrete, hydro - static testing for water pipelines)
- Inspect and ensure compliance with plans, specifications and best construction methods for the reinforced concrete rafts, footings, columns, walls, piers, slabs and stairs of (steam turbine units, intake structure, discharge structure, boilers, tanks, chimney, electrical building, warehouse building, control building and administration building)
- Record activities on job sites by name, action and location.
Technical Support Engineer

Wastewater Treatment Plant for Al-Mukalla City, Yemen.
Responsibilities /Duties:
-Attended at progress and technical meetings.
- Prepared of civil and structural shop drawings of pipelines, pumping stations, oxidation ponds and buildings.
- Recommended of alterations needed to tender drawings.
- Upgrading of Change Orders schedule.
- Prepared of cost breakdowns for the changed items if requested.
