Key Responsibilities:
• Handling the whole gamut of national and international procurement activities, evaluating suppliers based on key deliverables such as price/quality balance and on the most favorable terms and conditions.
• Liaising with vendors on proposal clarifications, negotiating procurement contracts for necessary materials/products for improved pricing, product quality, and delivery.
• Developing and streamlining current procedures and driving change and cost savings as well as ensuring that all commercial, technical standards are followed and expediting all contractual formalities, initiating reporting procedures for materials management, suppliers and inventory adjustment.
• Negotiating and identifying innovative solutions that support supply contracts optimization, improved quality, delivery, pricing and lead-times, in line with Corporate and departmental policies, procedures and quality standards.
• Keeping abreast of developments in the field of procurement and external supply markets, also ensuring that the procurement service operates in accordance with modern good industry practice to take maximum advantage of and derive benefit from new ways of procuring goods and services by participating in conferences/fairs/ seminars.
• Developing local and global teams to achieve alignment, interface with suppliers and internal cross functional teams to ensure flawless execution and support business goals and objectives. Reporting to General Manager.
• Tracking factory production schedule to finalize requirements, partnering with technical, projects and production departments to enhance strategic procurement performance. Demonstrating extensive knowledge of BOM, cutting list, MAR, TDS, MSDS, LPO and DN.
• Serving as a point of contact for all key clients and vendors. Establishing good business relationship with suppliers and vendor to ensure orders are received accurately; quantities are as per POs and prices are in accordance with established policies.
• Exhibiting awareness of the wide category of items including wood, timber, glass, stainless steel, plastic decorative items fabric fire rated items, acoustic materials, ironmongery, fitting, hardware, vehicles, handling equipment's machine spare parts, office equipment, carpet, fabric and curtains painting materials.

Responsibilities as Developer:
• Instrumental in establishing an optimized system in the factory, set-up departments, envisaging future scenarios, planning and implementing enhanced procedures. Assisting the production department to develop new products.
• Assisting General Manager in compilation/ collation of employee performance appraisals and job description. Analyzing business requirements and providing inputs for developing labor talent development and retention.
• Instituted procedure for the QC Department, promoting proactive approach to quality, health, safety and environment in line with organizational strategy.
