• Develop and implement the Enterprise Risk Management policy and framework.
• Conduct, facilitate and manage the annual corporate risk assessments ensuring that results are reported accurately to Senior Management as well as Audit & Risk Committees.
• Develop a robust scoring model tailored to the requirements of the Risk & advisory function and develop Risk Appetite, Risk Tolerance levels and Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) with associated thresholds to monitor the associated risks.
• Provide business advice in response to requests from senior management.
• Ensure all polices & procedures go with ISO 31000, got the ISO Certificate (First Federal entity in the UAE).
• Oversight of Risk Events, analysis of root causes, patterns identified, validation of corrective actions and procedural updates.
• Compile the Corporate Risk register and facilitate workshops to evaluate Residual Risk based on the inputs from the Business and Document Mitigation strategies associated with each risk provided.
• Develop risk champion program all over Emirates Transport locations.
• Support risk culture & increase the awareness by making special events and workshops in both languages Arabic & English.
• Identify key risks and mitigating factors of potential investments, such as asset types and values.
• Liaise and actively collaborate with Internal Audit, ERM and other corporate functions contributing to the management of risk, in line with the concept of Three Lines of Defense.
• Develop effective working relationships with Senior Management to ensure that there are clear risk mitigation strategies in place and that the functions are operating as an effective first line of defense.
• Reviewing any new major contracts or internal business proposals.
• Investigate and assess potential risks for assigned projects and accounts.
• Review and assess all reports of suspicious account activity.
• Evaluate the adequacy of the company’s internal control in addressing risks and accomplishing the company’s goals and objectives.
• Support in developing and implementing the Business continuity management (BCM) and contingency plans to manage crises.
