Essential Responsibilities and Duties:

• Organizing and actively participating in the training of assigned cell operators.
• Leading and supporting the training of Junior Field Engineers/Specialists.
• Attending to personal development by following the PEPTEC program.
• Following all Schlumberger QHSE standards and promoting their understanding and compliance.
• Actively participating in local loss prevention programs.
• Controlling the quality of services during all phases of operation and ensuring that the products of highest quality are delivered to the client.
• Performing all reporting and administrative duties concerning the field operations accurately and in a timely manner.
• Ensuring that the status of all equipment assigned to my cell are reported and kept up-to-date in the system.
• Ensuring that supplies are available at the well-site to perform all operations.

Services and Expertise:

• Production logging & interpretation of data in both vertical and horizontal wells (PLT “Production logging tool” and FSI “Flow Scan Imager”).
• Perforation using different types of guns, charges and techniques (Hollow carrier guns, exposed guns, deep penetration charges, pure design, oriented perforations, guns selectivity using addressable switches…).
• Pipe recovery including free point indicator tool, back-off and different types of cutters (explosives “SweTech & Power Cutter”, Chemical cutters and RCT cutter).
• Plugs and Packers setting tools both hydraulically (ReSolve) or using explosives (CPST).
• Through tubing plugs setting tool (MPBT) and cement dumping bailers.
• Well integrity logging and interpretation (Cement and corrosion evaluation including sonic, ultrasonic and electromagnetic tools).
• Radioactive tools usage and handling (RST “Reservoir saturation tool” behind casing uses electrically powered radioactive source PNG).
• Pressure control equipment (Elmar Grease injection WHE 10KPsi).
• Conveyance techniques: Coiled tubing logging, Tractor & Pump Down (theoretical knowledge).

Technical Schools and Training:

• OFS 1 School (10 days): Introduction to Oil & Gas Exploration and Production, Basic QHSE course; Paris, France.
• PEPTEC-1 CH School (15 weeks): First technical course for Wireline Cased Hole field engineers that covers theoretical & practical knowledge of the basic Wireline equipment & services up to proficiency; Abu-Dhabi, UAE.
• PEPTEC-2 CH School (2 weeks): Covers New Technology Introduction and advanced WL Cased Hole services; Tulsa, USA.
• QHSE 2 School (3 days): Quality, health, safety and environment course includes failures reporting and investigation; Hassi Messaoud, Algeria.
• WL Digital Slickline & Slickline Fundamentals (4 weeks): Basic mechanical slickline (Fishing tools, Running and Pulling tools, Well completions…..) plus Digital slikline (PLT, Perforation, Plugs setting…); Abu-Dhabi, UAE.
