Responsibilities:
1.Following-up with business development department for the new tenders in the market.
2.Discussing the new tenders with BD to setup the priorities based on company overall vision.
3.Representing Thabat in pre-bid and post bid meetings with clients and partners.
4.Managing, defining goals, assigning responsibilities, and distributing the workload to estimation team and report the work status to MD.
5.Preparing, following up, analyzing, and reviewing the estimation activities with bidding team.
6.Negotiating the scope of work and final prices with supplies/subcontractors for the main packages.
7.Finalizing with the Heads of Sector (general construction and Infra team) the direct/indirect cost with estimation team and get the final Approval from MD.
8.Presenting the projects nature, estimation summary, risks, opportunities, and any issues appears during project study to MD.
9.Following-up the proposal's submission process till delivery to clients.
10.Preparing the comparisons and benchmarks comparing to previous history and lesson learned.
Position:
Period from 2010 to 2012 (Sr. Estimation Engineer).
Period from 2012 to 2014 (Lead. Estimation Engineer).
Period from 2014 to 2019(Estimation Manager).
Responsibilities:
Leading and developing a team of cost estimators performing cost estimating
Providing training and guidance to the cost estimating team in the preparation of change orders cost estimation.
Acting as the source of authoritative advice on cost estimating matters, including cost negotiations with contractors on subjects which are related to contract change orders.
Contributing to the review of activities and methodologies required to drive continuous improvement in the cost estimating function.
Developing mid implementing consistent cost reporting templates to capture and analyze relevant data.
Preparing overhead cost & profit.
Providing guidance, direction, and specialized assistance for the resolution of difficult and complex estimating problems.
Accumulating, evaluating, and maintaining the program estimate database based on historical data and current market condition.
Preparing detailed breakdown of components and elements of estimates for systems and subsystems.
Review all final estimates prior to final submission to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Responsible for overall coordination of bid reviews and overseeing bid process.
