Working as a tendering engineer with the following responsibilities:
- View RFQs and preparing SMARTER solutions and offers to clients
- Estimating material, labor, risk, financial and other hidden costs required for job execution
- Review tender documents and negotiate/comply with clients requirements
- View purchase orders and insuring contractual favor to company
- Insuring compliance with client's RFQs and tender documents with respect to company's objectives
- Prearranging service plans for LV & MV switchgear maintenance with accurate estimation
Experience gained:
- Solid knowledge on LV & MV Switchgear
- Estimation of Installation, testing and commissioning for LV & MV switchgear
- Working with different departments such as finance, sales, project management, logistic and legal
- Offer and presentation preparation skills
- Reviewing projects and assessing risks, hidden costs, etc.
- Preparing Technical Queries and Commercial Queries
Worked as a site engineer for 8 weeks
Familiar with a lot of electrcial systems including the following:
Earthing and Lightening protection
PAVA
Fire alarm and smoke detection
Centeral emergency lighting
UPVC duct pipes and accessories
Lighting control and dimming
Building managment system
Cable tray/ladder/trunk
Obtained the following skills:
Constructing load schedules
Table size/type calculations
Cost calculations
Monitoring workers and writing progress reports
Successfully obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, mainly focusing on Power Protection, Power Distribution and Power Electronics. Also good at electronics circuits design, digital signal processing, control systems and basic communication schemes.
