Main Responsibilities:
Leads SAS team to cover the commissioning and service activities in Eastern Region.
Coordinate the activities with a wide range of stakeholders (SEC-EOA, EPCs, PMs, etc.).
Leads the commissioning activities effectively to ensure quality and on time deliverables.
Creates work plans and supports continuous improvement of commissioning process.
Analyzes data and prepares reports to apply lessons learned process.
Improves effectiveness of work plans in collaboration with other functions.
Ensures adherence to safety standards in the area of responsibility and mitigation of risks.
Supports Project Managers in issuing claims (identify new scope of work, risk, time impact, etc.).
Contributing in SAS commissioning activities in addition to team administrative work.

• Manages the commissioning activities to ensure quality and timely delivery.
• Guides and assigns tasks to engineers and technicians.
• Develops, coaches and provides technical guidance to colleagues in the assigned projects.
• Ensures adherence to safety standards in the area of responsibility and mitigation of potential
risks.
Main Duties:
• Ensures the correct functionality of the system (servers, switches, IEDs, etc.).
• Carries out database engineering/integration/reviewing as per the approved signal lists.
• Carries out IED/HMI configuration changes and modifications as per the approved changes.
Skills Developed:
•Experience in IEC 61850 standard for substation automation
•Experience in IEC 60870-5-101 slave protocol for NCC communication
•Experience in protection and substation automation systems
•Experience in ABB SAS software packages (MicroSCADA Pro SYS600, IET 600, ITT Synthesizer, PCM600)
•Gain more experience in other brands of IEDs, such as Alstom & Siemens
•Ability to interact with wide range of clients, contractors and consultants
•Team Lead/Project Lead experience
Main Duties:
•Providing technical support, technical solutions and troubleshooting for automation systems
•Examining requirements of new automation systems, implementing, architecting creative solutions to accomplish client’s goals
•Preparing control system IO’s list and programming
•Handling projects’ pre-sales and purchasing activities
Skills Developed:
•Gain more experience in Siemens automation products specially PLCs (S7-200 & S7-300) and WinCC Flex SCADA for HMIs
Projects:
•Big bag packing machine for cement:
-Using Siemens S7-200 PLC, OP 77B HMI and WinCC Flex software
-Programming all the required programming for both HMI and PLC
•Three similar water stations: “For third party company in UAE”
-Using Siemens S7-200 PLC
-Programming the PLC according to the control philosophy & IOs list
Main Duties:
•Supervising other members of the technical sales and proposals team
•Providing technical support and troubleshooting for PLCs problems
•Doing site surveys and preparing reports for the technical manager
•Preparing control system IO’s list and programming
•Providing technical solutions, tenders studies and documentation
•Providing pre-and-after sales technical assistance and product study
•Providing training and producing support materials for other members in the team
•Providing technical presentations and demonstrating how a product meets client needs
Skills Developed:
•Gain more experience in automation products (PLCs, Drives, SCADA), specially in Siemens automation products as well as VIPA and Allen Bradley
•Gain more experience in Wonderware InTouch10 SCADA, RSLogix, SIMATIC Step7
•Gain more experience in instrumentations as well as DCS
•Ability to read control systems circuits, electrical and P&ID diagrams
