·Mange more than 15 drilling rigs (operations & personnel)
Manage the day -to-day operations associated with the well, including planning and scheduling, resource allocation, cost control and the clear and concise reporting of all well site activities and events.
· Ensure full compliance with the company HSE policy standards and objectives.
· Deliver high quality, cost-effective wells according to the approved well programmes.
· Identify and collate of lessons learned which can be incorporated in future operations.
· Manage the interface with other company assets.
· Evaluate the effectiveness of the drilling and related services contacts. identify areas for improvement and propose enhancement initiatives.
· Manage and coach the drilling and service contractor staff during the operational performance optimisation and the implementation of new drilling technology.
· Provide clear HSE leadership and direction with respect to the daily operational activities by developing a clear understanding with all prsonnel regarding the company's policies strategies and specific well objectives.
As Drilling Superintendent; I am the leading company coordinator on the base; in charge of all drilling operations from spud till completion including rig moves.My role is to manage the team (drilling supervisors and engineers); coordinate with all service societies involved in the well construction; provide a technical; economical and HSE follow through planning and prioritizing activities and by using my expert knowledge to avoid or resolve operational problems safely and efficiently.
I play a vital role by providing leadership and ensuring alignment with my company principles, policies, vision & key objectives, and legislative requirements.
