As a managing director I am responsible for the daily operations of a company. As a member of senior management and a member of the BOD, I am expected to keep the company solvent and to promote expansion and innovation within the business. Answerable and evaluated by the board I keep performance within the approved plan/budget & promote excellence throughout the business by leading by example & result driven.
Responsible to ensure all contractual commitments towards the client are satisfied while looking after the interest of my employer and managing the risks associated with projects. In charge of the management and control of Projects, ensuring completion on schedule and within the allocated budget and their conformance with company`s and Client standards. The focal point on all matters and actions related to projects and supervises the business process team created for the project High professional competence and management skills are the prime requisites to motivate my team to achieve high quality performance during the execution of projects.
Management of technical staff to achieve planned & scheduled targets, plus executive management duties such as formation/deriving departmental strategy, & objectives to be in line with the corporate. When directly involved in project management I undertake the lead in technical/ contract, & commercial evaluations, prior to award & subcontractor selection. Develop & manage department budget in addition to follow-up of contractor`s progress payments.
However in multi/complex projects I undertake the selection of project managers &review/approve various initiation documents such as project charter, planning/control document & chair the weekly projects progress review meetings up to projects close out.
General management responsibilities such as staff training & development plans, performance evaluation & conflict resolutions.

Construction manager - (client Petro energy) - EPCC project for the TIE in PIPELINE to GNPOC B.V2 EPCC Project. Value: 60 M USD.

Construction Manager & Acting Project manager for EPCC project in Iraq Garaff Oil Field for PETRONAS (PCIHBV) Iraq. I was the construction manager of 12 (10 Inches) flow lines & two 18 inches trunk lines from well cluster 1 & 2 to FPF. Project Value: 21.8 M US Dollar.
As construction section head in Asawer HQ I was involved in setting the project directorate vision/mission & objectives to identify and manage departmental KPIs.
Construction section managerial duties such as staff development, training needs, performance evaluation & management as well as team building & conflict resolution. The Setting out and development of documentation and procedures outlines required in the project construction and engineering phases for clients review & approval.

As senior project engineer I take the lead in technical evaluation teams for projects related to the enhancement of midstream operations from system upgrades to technical solutions & redesigns of existing subsystems.
On several occasions upgrades were designed and implemented to the process equipment to improve operations/cut costs.
I was also managing a six members team of engineers & responsible for their development & performance evaluation.

1-25 MW BONO HTF Heaters,
2-18 32V12 Wartsila Drivers,
3-18 Sulzer main P/L Pumps &
4-4MW RR Power Plant;
managing the design, manufacturing, assemble & testing at contractor`s facilities located in UK, Finland & Norway.
Planning, reporting & recommending course of actions for client team to mitigate or avoid problems related to contractual issues & progress in the designated packages.
As a direct initiative with a Saudi businessman a potable tank polyethylene manufacturing line was dismantled from KSA, transported & then refitted in Sudan. The assembly, testing, start-up, commissioning and operations were managed by me. Staff recruitment & training was executed solely by me. Later I managed the production & company operations. The company grew in value by 400% in 3 years; expanded its asset value by 200%.
As a leader for a multinational team of 120 engineers & technicians in the routine/preventative maintenance activities for the largest poultry processing complex in the Middle East using the latest RCM & PM techniques. Budget planning & control as well as many other duties related to process lines overhaul, design modification & production optimization. Power Generation, refrigeration, waste & water treatment, & ancillary systems such as plant/instrument air systems, storage & distribution etc. were part of our routine maintenance & spare parts acquisition plans.
Strategy formation & influence on Board`s resolutions to enhance growth, improve operations, optimize performance & increase profits whilst involved in the day to day operations & management of 4 production lines & 150 strong workforce in multifarious roles. Through team building initiatives, work condition improvement and system upgrades the factory has managed to increase its through put by 25% and maintained its operation sustainability. Annual profit increased by 15% & the factory was able to satisfy lenders and improve its credit rating tremendously with local banks
