- Defines, develops and implements quality assurance practices and procedures, test plans and other QA assessments.
- Develops automated testing systems using commercial tools, scripts and data set.
- Defines scope and objectives of all levels of QA testing.
- Participate in all aspects of testing, including functional, regression, load and system testing.
- Responsible for the overall success of testing. Manages assigned projects from IT Quality Testing through final User Acceptance Testing.
- Establishes the purpose and deliverables of the test effort.
- Provides resource planning, management and resolution of issues that impede the test effort.
- Assures the appropriate level of quality by the resolution of important defects by working with developers to ensure the software development process has an appropriate level of testing
Main Responsibilities:
- Review product and system functional requirements specifications SRS and create test plans and test cases to ensure that overall quality is delivered.
- Provide daily progress reports for the Team Leader and coordinate between the Management of both client and our sides to solve any outstanding matters.
- Collaborate with resources to ensure all system design requirements adequately reflect the defined business processes and fully support all components of the functional business requirements.
- ensuring that any product or service that is offered by an organization is of a quality that meets the standards of both management and the purchasing customer or client
- Implementing quality efforts which includes conducting all types of testing (e.g. BB, WB, Sanity, Smoke, Integration, Regression, Performance, System …), and logging testing outputs in the bug tracking tool all according to the quality plan. (Quality Control)
- Writing test cases and checklists according to defined requirements.
- Executing inspection using test cases, checklists, and any other adopted testing tools and techniques in the organization and/or project.
- Reporting to the Quality Team leader which via quality head about quality efforts, progress, status and issues on regular bases or on demand.
- Participating in software process improvement and overall quality improvement in the company.
