As food safety department manager from May 2015 to June 2016:
Head of the department of safety and inspection of imported and exported food in the Northern State's points of entry, Sudan.
As Health Quarantine Manager in Northern State, from June 2016 to August 2019:
To oversee the implementation of IHR requirements at points of entry in the Northern State, Sudan; and responsible to drive:
1. Points of entry surveillance, and communication with NFP.
2. Response to diseases and international public health concerning events.
3. Imported and exported food inspection, accrediation and certification.
4. Provision of health and medical services at points of entry facilities, and referral system between PoE clinics and local hospital.
5. Provision of international vaccination and issuance of international certificates of prophylaxis.
6. Vector control at points of entry.
7. Food safety and hygiene at points of entry as well as environmental sanitation.
8. Coordination with other sectors working at points of entry.
1. Surveillance officer in the department of epidemiology, responsible for collection, analysis, reporting and feedback.
2. Manager of the epidemiology department, supervise surveillance, preparedness, response and disease control.
3. Monitoring and evaluation officer in the TB control program (TB M&E), responsible for data verification, TB supply chain check up, feedback, supervision, and coordinate internal training.
4. Tuberculosis program coordinator in Northern State, (State TBC). Responsibilities:
* Coordinate application of treatment protocol at TB care and management units (TBMUs).
* Coordinate quality control for diagnosis of TB at TB diagnostic centers.
* Coordinate TB data system, reports and feedback.
* Coordinate community interventions and ACSM.
* Coordinate implementation of training for all TB staff at all levels in Northern State.
* Build partnerships and coordinate other TB initiative efforts.
1. Assistant to Rapid Response Team (RRT) of Federal Ministry of Health to respond to acute watery diarrhoea outbreak in east of the Sudan "Gedarif" 2007.
2. Assistant to Rapid Response Team (RRT) in Internatinal Airport to respond to pandamic swine flu. 2009.
3. Participated in activities of vector control, food inspection, surveillance, and response in health quarantine at Khartoum International Airport, Sudan.
