Job Description:
1. Oversee network and servers.
2. Providing support to employees in the group’s companies.
3. Inducting new staff on IT systems.
4. Diagnose and resolve technical issues
5. Troubleshooting of IT problems and resolve, Logging all IT problems and resolutions.
6. Keeping inventory of hardware and maintenance records.
7. Ensuring all software is properly licensed.
8. Ensuring data is backed up on a regular basis.
9. Overseeing computer security and anti-virus updates etc
10. Setting up and configuring new laptops and desktops.
11. Ensuring security and upgrades are applied and kept up to date on desktops and laptops
12. Support and maintain MS Server/Desktops and MS Exchange
13. Setting up new users (ID Card, Telephone Ext., Email Account).
14. Leasing with external IT vendors companies
15. Creating purchase requisitions for IT hardware/software.
16. Monitor and remove virus, spyware, and other non-authorized software.
17. Maintain and monitor daily tape backup and off-site tape storage.
18. Maintain and monitor daily Files Backup.
19. Maintain and monitor daily Virtual Machine Snapshot.
20. Check Ironport Spam mail Filter and release unspam emails.
21. Contact Suppliers to supply required Hardware, Laptops, Desktops, and printers.
22. Manage, create, and edit Exchange Mailboxes.
23. Manage and create exchange server facility like meeting rooms, meeting equipment’s, sharing
calendar,
sharing mailbox, send on behalf, and edit mailbox permission.
24. Publish and monitor software to be access remotely though Citrix server.
25. Controlling and monitoring user access to the Oracle database.
26. Enrolling users and maintaining system security.
27. Weekly backup for all SQL database information.
28. Troubleshoot and provide support for applications like QuickBooks, Tally, Oracle ERP, Time
Attendance, Access Door, Veeam Backup, Symantec Anti-Virus, Symantec Exec Backup, Citrix Apps,
Advent, Ironport Spam mail Filter
