Preparation of shop and as-built drawings.
Equipment selection
Preparation of submittals.
Make wrought material, accessories and consumables purchase order.
Supervise the installation and modification of mechanical systems at sites. Inspect the system by all methods mentioned by the client.
. Make requisition for final inspection to the client
Handling projects of full packages of steam boilers, hot water boilers, calorifiers and solar heating systems.
Duties:
• Managing projects from drawing through to completion.
• Responsible for all the approval from the consultant.
• Responsible for all site coordination.
• Directing the site team to follow safety procedures as well as using the tools in safe conditions.
• Providing technical support to the project team and wider regional teams.
• Reviewing submittals before forwarding to consultant for approval.
• Managing project budgets and keeping costs down.
• Overseeing the maintenance of projects after completion.
• Responsible for the completion of all documentation.
• Producing Test Plans and reports.
• Prepare bill of quantity (BOQ) for procurement services and materials.
• Evaluating tenders and providing recommendations.
• Carrying out effective client liaison for all projects undertaken.
• Liaising with customers on a regular basis to ensure the successful design and manufacture of products to agreed budgets and time frames.
• Prepare the steam pipe calculation.
• Making the selection of steam traps and accessories.
• Making selection of pressure reducing valves.
• Supervise the construction and maintenance of various mechanical and electrical systems, in buildings and structures as well as external utilities works.
• Perform the evaluation and inspection of MEP work worksto insures that the standards and requirements are met.
• Review technical documentation, such as drawings and specifications and submittals.
• Review and assess consultants, contractors and subcontractors prequalification’s and inspect their showrooms/factory as required.
• Coordination between MEP works.
• Review and understand all project contract documents.
• Coordinate with all MEP services and with civil and architect engineers.
• Assist in resolving any issues raised by contractors and consultants and issue changing ordered and variations as required.
• Directing the site team to follow safety procedures as well as using the tools in PPE.
• Review related items within the contractors construction schedule in coordination with planning Engineer (shop drawing log, procurement schedule and submittals log.
• Attend various inspections for review material mockups and testing.
• Ensure that the work is carried as per approved contractor’s construction schedule.
