Hired to establish their corporate marketing operations; with the long term vision that each of the 5 core divisions would have its own marketing team and they would all report to the corporate marketing manager. So far only one of the 5 divisions has a marketing team. Therefore the current role involves the management and execution parts for all the 5 divisions.

Key Achievements so far:
- Formed a corporate marketing team consisting of a graphic designer, web developer and a marketing executive to utilize
the current resources until further growth.
- Launched a Brand Revamping Project.
- Liaised with a professional marketing consulting firm to produce Corporate Brand Guidelines.
- Expanded internally on the produced Brand Guidelines.
- Organized a Brand Roadshow and delivered presentations to all the Omnix offices around the region.
Prepared a corporate profile for Omnix reflecting on the 25 years of success.
- Maximized on the PR coverage during Q4 2012 by proactively making stories.
- Secured a contract with a better PR agency by March 2013 entailing more deliverables for Omnix with less cost
- Conducted an IT industry surveys with global organizations to produce a thought leadership press release and articles
- Successfully organized own events with global technology partners such as IBM and participated in key tradeshows which
resulted in generating leads and eventually closing deals.
- Organized Team Building Activities to increase the productivity and loyalty of the staff
- Successfully initiated with the management a program to improve the office environment including entertainment,
motivational posters, idea wall to encourage staff to show creativity and brain storm their ideas.
- Launched a corporate wellness program for the staff with Fitness First.
- Introduced Omnix ID Cards for the different offices.
- Edited and Published a monthly Internal Newsletter starting from March 2013
- Unified the company look and feel for stationeries, forms, invoices, business cards, brochures, email signatures etc
- Produced the first case study for the company liaising with the client, the vendor and the project team
- Achieved over 400% growth of the followers of Omnix’s fan page on Facebook and the other Social Media platforms such
as Linkedin and Twitter.
- Launched an internal website for communication between the Omnix staff: Omnix community
- Initiated the following projects: Intranet, Extranet, Image Bank, Omnix Blog, Promo Shop for Omnix
- Secured Editorials with Key Industry Media by establishing the thought leadership level that Omnix has.
- Launched multi-touch campaigns with partners such as Cisco to increase the sales.
- Introduced the Inbound Marketing Strategy to compliment the traditional Outbound Marketing Strategy.
- Revised the Advertising and PR Strategy
- Introduced creative presentation tools for the staff. (Prezi.com, VideoScribe and GoAnimate.com)
- Initiated the Website Renewal and Translation Project
- Initiated a CRM Implementation Plan.
- Prepared an all-encompassing Marketing Action Plan and Budget.
- Produced Reports on achieved and planned marketing actions with ROI analysis.

Responsible for the execution of ME marketing operations including: strategies, campaign/events management, media relations, website supervision, social media, implementation of the company’s business plan and supporting sales.

Current responsibilities include:
• Develop and implement the annual marketing Action Plan.

• Brand positioning enhancement.
• Produce and manage the content of market studies, brochures, adverts, articles, white papers and promotional videos that articulate Tekla's position in the Middle East.

• Manage and develop the Tekla Middle East fan page and the marketing campaigns on Social Media platforms.
• Manage the relationships with trade associations and industry bodies.
• Evaluate customer research, market conditions and competitors data.
• Devise marketing strategies and develop marketing campaigns.
• Produce Quarterly Reports on Tekla’s Position in the market for the stock exchange reports.
• Manage and Evaluate cost effectiveness of PR and advertising.
• Manage and develop the relationships with industry media.
• Enhance e-Marketing activities to ensure meeting the requirements of the current marketplace.

• Management of the successful launch event - Build Smart 2009 (2 day conference attended by over 150 industry professionals) - including agenda development and speaker/sponsor acquisition
• Management of Build Smart 2010 (2 day conference attended by close to 200 delegates) - including agenda development and speaker/sponsor acquisition
• Development and implementation of buildingSMART ME’s Marketing Plan
• Securing exceptional media coverage/advertising deals for buildingSMART ME, using personal connections
• Supported and promoted membership growth
• Developed marketing materials, controlling costs within limited budget
• Overseeing of website development
• Management of relations with other non-profit organizations, trade associations, educational institutes - introducing buildingSMART training programs
