QM is the managing body of all museums in the State Of Qatar, including Museum of Islamic Art (MIA), Arab Museum of Modern Arts (Mathaf), National Museum of Qatar (NMoQ), Qatar Olympic and Sports Museum (QOSM), Orientalist Museum, QM Gallery at Katara, ALRIWAQ DOHA Exhibition Space and the Al Zubarah World Heritage Site Visitor Centre
monitor and maintain the computer systems and networks of QM’s different sites, as assigned
installing and configuring computer hardware operating systems and applications;
monitoring and maintaining computer systems and networks;
talking staff through a series of actions, either face to face or over the telephone to help set up systems or resolve issues;
troubleshooting system and network problems and diagnosing and solving hardware or software faults;
replacing parts as required;
providing support, including procedural documentation and relevant reports;
following diagrams and written instructions to repair a fault or set up a system;
supporting the roll-out of new applications;
setting up new users' accounts and profiles and dealing with password issues;
responding within agreed time limits to call-outs;
working continuously on a task until completion (or referral to third parties, if appropriate);
prioritizing and managing many open cases at one time;
rapidly establishing a good working relationship with “users” and other professionals, e.g., software developers;
testing and evaluating new technology and
conducting electrical safety checks on computer equipmen

I was a 24/7 IT Technical Support Engineer, my role was:
1- Provide 1st line support on monitoring and maintaining physical environment.
2- Provide 1st line support on monitoring and maintaining network connections.
3- Provide 1st line support to users with respond to application problems
4- Provide onsite technical support service to end user.
5- Performing daily backup process.
6- Deploying the latest patches to all PCs.
