# Project Name: F-Ring Road Expressway (FRP)
Scope of work: The F-Ring Road is part of the Expressway
Programmed and is a new road between Al Muntazah Street and
Al Matar Street providing access to the new Doha International
Airport and a direct link to the south side of Doha. The project
includes the construction of a new 8.7 km expressway comprising
of six to eight lanes (three to four in each direction) divided by a
median with ramps and service roads at the Intersections. There
are two interchanges; Al Matar Street and Najma Street Extension
with bridges to be constructed. Local traffic movement is catered through two-lane frontage roads adjacent to
the main carriageway.
