As head of department, and in addition to the usual tasks of engineering, I am in charge of :
Ensure the proper functioning of the di-ammonium phosphate unit where there is a storage area dedicated for production
Ensure the daily maintenance of the strategic equipment
Suggest changes in the process in order to improve the performance as well as system performance and facilitate the various tasks
Follow-up the industrial trials in collaboration with the other divisions/departments (research, quality ...)
NB: during this period, we have succeeded to :
- Produce the MAP and for the first time since the launch of my unit (1500 t / day) thanks to some modifications in the installation
- Reach the daily production of 3000 tons of DAP (the previous record was 2600 tons) thanks to some upgrades in the installation
- Produce NPK formula (8-40-0-5S) for the first time thanks to some modifications/upgrades in the installation
Manage staff : 80 appointed at different positions
Manage the stock of raw materials and strategic items
Ensure a kind of flexibility in the plant for several constraints (stock, quality of raw materials, accidental failures ...)
Coordination avec les divers services: bureau de méthode, bureau des études, bureau de réalisation, service qualité, direction de l'environnement, service ammoniac, service expédition réception, service d'entretien mécanique, service d'entretien électrique, service sulfurique, utilities service, service phosphorique, division de production, la direction

Communication with local, national and international media, whether written, audio, or/and audio-visual
Crisis communication
Facilitating communication with the civil society (especially that I am a keyplayer in civil society in the region)
Representing the company in the information days, symposiums on the issue of environment and development, especially in the region of Gabes

Suggest changes/upgrades in the process that affect the chemical performance of the unit and facilitate the implementation of various tasks

- Propose changes in the process parameters affecting the performance of the plant and chemical efficiency
- Propose changes that facilitates the execution of various tasks
- Monitoring of industrial trials in collaboration with other divisions (research, quality ...)
- Management of staff (61 people at different grades)
- Management of stores (raw materials, strategic articles ...)
- Ensure the installation flexibility for various stresses (stock, quality of raw material, accidental failures ...) we should face to ensure higher yields, quality and rate.
- Inspection of different categories of customers,
- Submit articles suitable for their needs,
- Provide technical assistance to colleagues (commercial)
theoretical training and also practice good in specialty disciplines such as mass transfer, heat transfer and transfer of momentum , thermodynamics, water treatment, and respectful unit operations design different equipment used in chemical processes ( reactors , exchangers, various columns ... ) in technical and social disciplines such as computer science, electrical and mechanical , manangement companies ... This training is consolidated by practical applications in many software as well as through the implementation of various projects that have given me the opportunity to learn and practice the concepts and knowledge in the workplace through the internship that I have made within the Chemical Industries of the Fluor (ICF) , plant gabes and within plants Tunisian Chemical Group ( GCT ) .
