I teach ESOL students from year 7 - 11. I teach from the Welsh Curriculum Board. I also have experienced with Autism and other behavioral special needs. I work kids with GDD, ADHS, SLD, ASD, SpLD, MLD, BESD, SLCN, VI, HI and MSI.
I worked in West Thames College as SEN Instructor with Functional Skill and ESOL classes. I support a key group of students with Special Education Needs. I teach them the GCSE, BTEC in Business, ICT, Travel & Tourism and Employability Skills, I also record achievements report progress and set targets.
I was given the responsibility of looking after the English maths and science curriculum in Riyadh. This turned into a leadership role in Jeddah which I am currently holding. I am managing 70 teaching staff and 1000 students' girls and boys section. This internship has given me a broader view of education and it's different platforms that need to match.
I am currently creating lesson plans, worksheets, and weekly plans for the grade 8. I also set, review and mark school work/end-of-term exams. I teach lessons for the higher grades grade 7 up to 12. We train every Monday on various subjects such as Technology in the class and approaches to teaching literature.
I have also worked as 1-1 and small group's teacher in subjects like English, Science, Maths, Geography, History, and ICT amongst others. I also prepared lessons; assessed progress and recorded student achievements.
I attend to the reading needs of pupils and implement related reading programmes. I've also
executed other support duties in key stage 1 and 2.
