To assess, develop and execute strategies and plans that facilitate attraction, recruitment, development and retention of talents to ensure that the Company has value added resources to achieve its short, medium and long term business plans
Directs the company’s human resources activities. Responsible for developing and implementing policies and programs that support the organization’s overall strategic direction. Oversees various areas of human resources such as recruitment and selection, compensation and benefits, training and development, etc. Remains informed of laws, regulations, and plan design trends, ensuring that company’s policies and programs conform to laws and are competitive. Responsible for resource allocation, including budget and personnel. Works closely with executive management, and directs the efforts of HR management and related staff. Usually reports to the DGM/GM .

Adminstration and HR tasks
Manages office services staff in the mailroom, print and copy shop, filing, central word processing, and/or maintenance and facilities management. Makes work assignments, sets office services production priorities, and reviews employee performance, and makes employment (hire/termination/salary adjustments) decisions. May assist line and staff managers in hiring and training new administrative support personnel. May purchase office equipment and supplies, control inventories, supervise receptionist(s), make travel arrangements, etc. Typically reports to the Group Executive, Responsible for the human resources function ( recruitment, industrial relations issues, staff counselling, career path planning, employee assistance, annual salary increases and managing the performance appraisal exercise)

Responsible for the complete personnel administrative function within a branch or division or could be responsible for an area of a specialisation e.g. GOSI administration or employee benefits administration. Administration could include housing, car, medical, loan, leave, grievance/disciplinary process, manpower statistics, government returns, performance appraisal documentation process et cetera.
