Main duties performed:
• Reporting to the Dean of Libraries, the Deputy Dean of Libraries, Administrative Services, provides strategic, administrative leadership in the areas of financial management services, facilities management and business services, and human resources management, all of which includes communication and application of related University and library policies and procedures. The Deputy Dean of Libraries supervises staff . also serve as the Acting Dean in the absence of the Dean .
Main duties performed:
• Continually cataloguing, labelling and adding new books, CDs to the library system—both physically and electronically
• Search standard reference materials, including on-line sources and the Internet, in order to answer patrons' reference questions.
• Analyze patrons' requests to determine needed information, and assist in furnishing or locating that information.
• Providing support and any resources needed for students
• Guiding people on how to utilise the new electronic check-out machines in the library
• Managing staff
• Keeping the library organised and tidy Ordering and displaying new stock
• Maintaining a quiet environment
Main duties performed:
• Planning and implementing strategies to enhance services and collections, including ongoing development of collections aligned with academic program growth;
• Engagement with and support of the University’s research agenda;
• Assessment and promotion of the quality of the library’s learning environment, and continued development of outstanding and effective library instructional programs;
• Innovative advancement of library technology and furthering the creative use of emerging technologies;
• Effectively managing library financial, capital, and human resources to maximize the delivery of library and research services;
• Implementation of the library’s master plan, and continuous improvement of library facilities and spaces;
• Maintenance of a cohesive, energetic, service-oriented environment for a diverse workforce; and
• Advocacy and fundraising through the cultivation of donors and outside constituents.

Main duties performed:
• Sorting and stacking books on the correct shelves
• Checking books out physically and stamping return dates
• Assisting the visitors to the library with any enquiries they have, or if they can’t find book
• Ordering books online from other libraries for library members.
• Enter and update patrons' records on computers.
• Register new patrons and issue borrower identification cards that permit patrons to borrow books and other materials.
• Send out notices and accept fine payments for lost or overdue books.
• Facilitate the acquisition of books, pamphlets, periodicals, and audiovisual materials by checking prices, figuring costs, and preparing appropriate order forms.
