Approved By Client (Ashgahl - DNPD)) Main Responsibilities Include:
-lead in the review and implementation of all MSTs, safety plans and procedures
-Lead the site safety on operational levels including leadership and management
-Tunnel operations and ancillary activity safety lead
-Conduct Internal Audits and liaise with internal and External Auditors
-Ensure the pre-evaluation of all subcontractors and suppliers to ensure they meet QHSE requirements
-Ensure all client safety observations and non-compliance are closed as at when due
-Lead incident /accident investigation team to understand immediate, underlying and root causes
-Provide trends analysis and safety reports for all related departments (QHSE)
-Provide expertise on tunnel safety as per BS 6164, QCS 2014 etc
-Lead emergency planning and response operations
-Atend daily meeting with tunnel management on safety maters Position- Project HSE Manager Jan 2021- June 2021 Company- IRIS Construction Project- 50km Micro Tunnelling and Infrastructure Projects in SemaismaZone Responsibilities-
-Prepare the HSE Plan and procedures and lead on implementation.
-Review and lead on risk assessment on method statements
-Lead and support good safety culture.
-Provide trainings and support for continual improvements on safety culture.
-Atend meetings and prepare management reports related to safety.
-Provide and defend HSE department budgets for project.
-Provide leadership to HSE department personnel and appraisals for optimum output.
-Lead and support accident investigation and report presentations for corrective actions.
-Ensures all activities are done as per requirements and regulations.
-Advice management and workers on safe work procedures
Company- Larsen & Toubro (EA) Project - Doha Metro rail Tunnel project. Responsibilities.
-Support the Top Management in the formulation of HSE Policy and Guidelines issue.
-To cultivate and maintain strong safety culture.
-Develop, manage, and monitor the HSE performance of the company.
-Monitor and advise on all HSE maters, issues and concerns to ensure Company compliance with statutory requirements, Company and contractual requirements and good industry practice.
-Conduct audits to evaluate the efectiveness of systems and procedures, identifying and assisting implementing improvements
-Report on Company's HSE performance to the leadership team and statutory authorities as/when required.
-Conduct HSE training courses using internal and external resources when required.
-Maintain awareness of evolving industry HSE regulations and best practice and how they could be applied to the Company's operations.
-Produce further analysis and reports as may be required by the Directors, or management from time to time and clients in the Doha metro
-To provide safe, secure, and healthy working conditions for all workers
-To deliver safe, high quality and environmentally responsible products and services
-Atend all top level HSE meetings with client to ensure good communication and protect LTEA interest.
-Ensure, in accordance with the corporate guidelines, the implementation, updating, review and auditing of the Company HSE Systems.
-Monitor the efective implementation of appropriate Safety and Environment System procedures and provide for their updating in line with changes in Legislation and Company Directives.
-Carry out analysis of accident / incident statistics, identifying trends and suggesting improvement plans.
Company -- HLG-ALJABER JV, Project: -- New Orbital Highway and Truck Route and Tunnels (40 Kms) \[NOH3\] Responsibilities Include:
-Assist the HSE manager to achieve the goal of zero harm and good safety culture.
-Conduct all Internal and focused safety audits as per regulations and client specifications.
-To deliver safe, high quality and environmentally responsible products and services
-To stimulate the accountable use of resources
-To achieve zero incidents on all construction sites
-Serves as primary contact during management inspections, safety and occupational health and environmental audits.
-Manage a team of personnel and delegate duties according to requirements in sections under me.
-Advise the construction team in all aspects of safe working procedures.
-Daily inspect all work areas and advise and ensure safety continual improvements.
-Device and create processes and procedures to ensure safe working and conditions becomes the norm.
-Partake in risk assessment update and job/ task safety analysis reviews.
-Ensure all near misses are reported, investigated and reviews implemented.
-Conduct inductions to senior staf visiting the site.
-Ensure all safety documentation is properly documented and logged.
-Prepare and update HSE statistical tracking and trending data.
-Assists to implement and maintain client and KBR \[ PMC\] Specifications.
-Provide Project HSE Manager with feedback on HSE performance.
-Assist with the development and implementation of appropriate location emergency response systems
-Supervise the administrator and record keeper on area specific HSE audits, inspections, reports, certifications, permits, etc
-Atends pre-job, planning and other client meetings as required

-Promote a positive Company image during the course and scope of the performance of these duties
-Performs and assumes other duties and responsibilities as may be required by the HSE Manager
Albandary - Atlascat Engineering Role:
•Preparation, implementation and evaluation of health, safety, and environmental programs, policies, and practices to ensure they continue to meet all local, state, and national regulatory requirements.
•Lead, advice, guide and support on all health, safety, and environmental programs and policies to minimize and control risks
•Oversee the development and application of Hazard identification and risk assessment strategies
•Conduct environmental inspections, responsible for environmental reporting, waste management practices and hazardous material inventories and plans, report on observations, analysis of contaminants, and recommendations for correction
•Establish and maintain efective accident and incident reporting system for all employees
•Investigate accidents and incidents to determine the cause and recommends changes to work practices or equipment to minimize or eliminate future safety risks

•Conduct field investigations of soil, water, and air quality.
•Carry out general field and ofice assignments.
•Data management, interpretation, and reporting.
•Liaise with suppliers and contractors.
•Collecting, compiling, and interpreting field and laboratory data
•Perform environmental assessments and planning including baseline environmental investigations, stack emission testing, environmental hazard identification, and risk assessment.
•Prepare and lead adherence to site-specific health and safety plans to mitigate or eliminate risks to oneself and others.
•Maintain a safe and hazard-free work environment in line with health and safety requirements; and
•Work across other disciplines as requested.
