Responsibilities:
• Capture daily data entries in terms of stock movement’s transaction in COMPAS with great accuracy, good-quality documentation and clear documentation flow.
• Participate in monthly physical inventories to perform physical stock count of the commodities stored at Sana'a warehouses and reconcile the physical stock with COMPAS end of month stock.
• Support the corporate financial closures through reconciliation activities of tonnage in COMPAS & SAP, submitting accurate monthly COMPAS inputs for pipeline & MMC reports timely.
• Monitor the post-delivery commodity losses, damages, transactions of reconstitution, repacking, transformation, etc… and ensure that they are properly documented and recorded in COMPAS.
• Provide timely and accurately reports on commodity movement for pipeline management, programme and logistics officers such as regularly stock report, Dispatch & Receipt reports and Commodity Age report, etc…
• Liaise with Pipeline unit on stocks submitted for resource transfer of outstanding commodities under closing projects.
• Verify monthly Co-operative Partner distribution reports with the COMPAS receipt’s data and enter to the system.
• Ensure that country arrival stocks are correctly posted in both corporate systems, which is critical in effective resource management.
• Finalize of the interim quarterly & annual commodity accounting through the Project Status Report (PSR).
• Provide technical support to COMPAS colleagues in sub-offices.

Achievements:
• Participated successfully in monthly reconciling stocks deadlines (Physical Inventory Count of Warehouses /COMPAS /SAP) in accordance with WFP financial accounting system’s requirements (IPSAS).
• Managed COMPAS-SAP interface rejections / errors and data validation to achieve an accurate stock estimate in COMPAS leading to the right business decisions and proper stock valuation in WFP financial statements
• Finalized resource transfers of outstanding stocks at the project end date and made sure that also posted in WINGS properly.
• Contributed meaningfully to finalize commodity accounting for the quarterly & annual SPRs (Status Projects Report) for all country office’s projects

o Providing accurate Statistical reports using analytical methods for data ( assembled or extracted from COMPAS / WINGS ), and producing summaries of analysis & data chart presentations as and when it required using information systems tools like Statistical Package for Social Science (SPSS).Crystal Report, Oracle, Access, Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
o Design tracking databases using different RDMS .
