Responsibilities and Duties
Provide export booking details to client (booking sheet) in obtaining equipment release.
Cross check with carrier/broker on the clearance of the shipments and Provide BL draft to carrier prior to deadline (Maintain regular communication with client & broker based on terms of shipment status.
Preparing and cleaning up the import manifest (Checking PCL, freight charges
manifesting LCL, updating Refer temperatures & DG, updating customer CAP codes.
Updating Bonded zone area for JED, DAM, JUB as per customer request .
Process timely submission of manifest for all vessels calling Jeddah and Dammam and Jubail ports for local imports & transshipped CNTRs in Saudi EDI.
Updating all vessels in SEDI systems at least 02 days prior to vessel arrival.
Rechecking the numbers of CNTRs & B/Ls in vessel with the operation team.
Coordination with the port of loading for correct contact details.
Translating inbound manifest from English to Arabic, arranging manifest amendments based on Origins/Customers request.
Expert in using Saudi EDI (Uploading manifest, deletion, all types of corrections.
Follow up with terminals IPS/RSGT/NCT/ GCT in JED, DAM, JUB, KAP for our shipments import & export & transshipment.
Follow-up containers from port to the customer.
Follow-up of empty containers and make sure no damage in it.
Address customers in the event of delay in the container
Make sure workflow with the staff in the area.
Increase the company's customers.
I worked as a Shift Manager, under my administration 60 employees.
Manage empty container yards, and control.
Manage the distribution of containers within the terminal and Storage yard.
Distribution of drivers on equipment, such as fork lift, crane, RTG .
Supervising the ship in the case of loading and discharge containers, and transshipment.
Responsible for the entry of trucks to the container terminal.
