To do conceptual/base design, tender preparation, detailed design for Electrical works including Power System Design, Load calculations & Studies, Transformer Sizing, Cable Sizing & Voltage Drop calculations, Single Line Diagrams, Panelboard schedules, Cable routing, Material Specifications, Bill of Quantities (BOQ), for Admin & Executive buildings, Historic & Religious sites & buildings, Commercial centers & supporting Infrastructures, executed under MADINAH REGIONAL DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY (MRDA).

To do conceptual/base design, tender preparation, detailed design for Electrical works including Power System Design, Street Lighting, Road Lighting, Architectural & Urban Landscape Lighting, Outdoor public spaces and plazas lighting, Neighborhood Gardens & Parks lighting, Load calculations & Studies, Transformer Sizing, Cable Sizing & Voltage Drop calculations, Single Line Diagrams, Panelboard schedules, Material Specifications, Bill of Quantities (BOQ), for Parks, Gardens, Commercial centers & supporting Infrastructures for Urban Development Department, budgeted and executed under AMANAH REGIONAL MUNICIPALITY, MADINAH MUNAWWARAH.

Worked as a Sr. Electrical Engineer in the company to execute design projects for different sectors within the Kingdom like Oil & Gas, Utilities, Industrial, Power & Energy, and Commercial for major government organizations like SAUDI ARAMCO, SABIC, SEC, MA’ADEN, MARAFIQ, ROYAL COMMISSION and many other private clients as well.

Responsibilities:
• Perform conceptual and detailed design of electrical systems for new and modification projects.
• Prepare Electrical design documents including design requirements, design description, elementary diagrams, functional specifications, etc., together with the supporting analysis/assessment documents and other design basis documents.
• Prepare and modify drawings, specifications, calculations in compliance with applicable codes, accepted engineering practices and client standards.
• Prepare One-Line diagrams, Equipment Plan & Layouts, Control schematics, Interconnection diagrams, Cable routing layouts, Cable schedules, Power Plans, Grounding layout, as per scope of work and clients requirements.
• Perform specification, sizing, and selection for various electrical equipment.
• Power system analysis in ETAP which includes Load Flow Analysis, Short Circuit Analysis, Arc Flash Analysis and Relay Coordination Studies.
• Design of UPS, Battery Chargers and Emergency power systems.
• Engineering calculations for power distribution including: switchboards, panelboards, transformers, cable sizing, voltage drop, conduit fill, cable tray sizing etc.
• Preparation of Electrical Scope of works and Technical Specifications for new projects.
• Preparing data schedules for specifying electrical equipment to vendors.
• Lighting calculations and design using Dialux software.
• Design of fire detection and alarm systems.
• Review and finalization of all electrical deliverables for projects.
• Preparing MTOs, MRs and Bulk material specifications.
• Coordinating with other internal team members on multi-discipline projects, which often includes architects, mechanical, process, piping, civil and structural engineers
• Providing responses to technical enquiries or comments from design review teams and regulatory agencies.
• Interface with Clients, Customers and Vendor to reach agreements on all electrical details and standards to ensure consistency in the design.
• Work with designers and drafters to produce quality detailed designs
• Resolve design and development problems during different phases of the design.
• Identify and resolve conflicts on new designs with existing infrastructures.
• Maintain required drawings from conceptual to as-built and submit Master/native files upon completion.
• Delegating work to engineers/designers in proportion to their technical skills and experience, then following up for support to ensure efficient progress and quality.
• Working on multiple designs and respond to changing priorities.
• Producing estimate level preliminary designs and material take-offs suitable for the level of the estimate being performed on a project.
• To ensure project drawings and documents as per QA/QC procedures and requirements.
• Keep updated with new developments and maintain knowledge of vendors in the marketplace to assist with qualifying suppliers for use by company.
• Interface with clients, project team and vendors
• Perform and document technical design reviews with other disciplines on the project team to produce the highest level of quality.
• Responsible for adhering to all safety standards and practices.
• Reviewing and checking vendor drawings and other discipline drawings for electrical input.
• Provide technical assistance and resolution when electrical and/or engineering problems are encountered during detail design.
• Collaborate with other Electrical Engineers of the client and other key personnel to identify and solve the problems.
