Responsibilities:
Responsible for the overall quality management of the given parcels in the KAFD Project, Riyadh. The main responsibilities includes but not limited to the following.
• Ensure the contractors have viable QMS in place and they are tracking the quality effectively.
• Review/comment on the contractor PQP, MS, ITPs, etc. w.r.to proj. specs. & relevant standards. Ensure proper implementation of the same at site. Supervise and monitor contractors compliance.
• Review /comment on contractors submittals (Materials, shop drawings, technical proposals, procedures, etc.) in coordination with the respective discipline seniors/heads
• Review of prequalification documents from subcontractor, suppliers, fabricators, independent testing labs, etc. and arrange/participate site/factory visits for auditing their facilities for compliance with the project requirements, ISO 9001and applicable/specified standards ( like ASTM, ACI, AWS, etc.)
• Manage inspections and tests of contractors work and make sure the quality of workmanship and materials meet contract requirements. Monitor the inspectors and give briefs as and when required to ensure the compliance of their inspection process with the project quality/spec/codes/standards
• Attend weekly meetings (with Clients/Contractor & Subcontractors/PMC) update the status and highlight current issues on which immediate attention is required.
• Participation in the weekly combined Site Walk for monitoring quality / progress and follow up for the rectification of the comments noted.
• Issuing, managing and tracking of NCRs and site observation notices on any found non conformance at site. Review/ comment/ provide assistance on contractors corrective and preventive action proposals. Closing out of the NCRs once the corrective action taken is found acceptable, inspected and approved.
• Conduct internal and external (2nd Party) quality audits as per ISO 9001and follow the NCR procedures on the found non-conformances if not complied within the allowable time.

• Ensure closing of the punch lists and availability of project handing over requirements (OMM, Warranty, testing & commissioning docs, etc.) in hand for smooth/timely closing-out of the project.
