The most important and challenging job in my professional career was to monitor and coordination of expansion of Port Qasim Harbour located some 45 km away from Karachi Where the following developments was monitored & supervised:
•To supervise and monitor the Expansion of Buildings & Offices of Port Qasim Authority.
•Feasibility report of Port Qasim Authority (Extension of its jetty and Dredging Work) having sufficient experience of monitoring of execution of dredging works to undertake maintenance dredging works alongside Marginal Wharf, Service Jetty / Refit Jetty and in other Port Complex Areas. Approximately the quantity of 530, 000 cum + 20% was dredged
•Monitoring Dredging work at Port Qasim
•Anchor Piles / Driven piles.
•Jetty Construction.
•Quay wall renovation.
, tasked to supervise and monitor the construction of Main Infrastructure Development & Network Systems; including Roads & Hard cape, Storm water Drainage, Potable Water, Irrigation, Sewer, Street Lightings & Traffic Signals, telecom., Power Supply sub-stations, & Play areas, Fountains & Paddle Pools, Gatehouses & Perimeter Fence and other Civil work & Infrastructure facilities.
• Review Slop profile for storm and potable water.
• Study of Thrust block, thrust flange & thrust ceiling for pressure pipe line including Slop profile for storm and potable water.
• Supervise the demolition of existing/old buildings / facilities, including disconnection of utilities & grade preparation prior to construction and installation of new structures.
• Initiate action and responses to request for inspections (RFIs) and field adjustments.

• Coordinate with other disciplines, including utilities for all matters related to construction interface and quality control assurance.
• Coordinate with concerned party to formulate solutions on outstanding construction issues that arise during the progress of works, including interface issues with other packages.
• Prepare variation / change orders; including Scope of Works, Bill of Quantities and drawings of additional works or proposed changes.
• Monitor progress of works to ensure conformance with the approved drawings, quality control procedures, performance requirements & project specifications, and the timely completion of the project.
• Review design / shop drawings, material submittals and other technical submittals including progress reports and field adjustments.
• Check the adequacy and accuracy of punch lists until the final completion of works.
• Review As-Built Drawings and other document submittals to facilitate the Handing Over of completed projects.
• Attend to various coordination meetings and discussions related to outstanding contractual issues with respect to contract provisions and project requirements.
• Perform other duties that may be required from time to time.
Having more than 20 years of experience in the field of Civil Engineering including Technical Coordination. RCC Structural design, Involved in the preparation of method of statements, Preliminary Planning of execution, Detailed schedule program for execution work, study and monitoring of drawings and engineering design reports. Review Drawings and allocate different manpower's for different areas of field. Well versed with local and international design Standards / Codes of practices related to different structures such as RCC Buildings, Retaining walls, Industrial Shades, Villas, utilities, culverts with rich experience of top Supervision & Execution of Structure and infrastructure Work with experience of Quantity Surveying, Costing & Estimation of different Buildings, utilities and Industrial shade etc.
In addition, playing a role as consultant Engineer in Dubai based Company on casual bases.
Starting the project from paper work to completion including analysing & Design the structure.
•Feasibility and costing of the Project.
•Communication and close coordination between client and contractor.
•Project Management including preparing planning and scheduling.
•Top supervision of the execution work including checking reinforcement of the structure.
•Study the infrastructure of overall project.

A maintenance work of series of Buildings including procurement, execution, costing and involvement of project management with full consideration of engineering look around the project. Coordinator with clients on daily bases to control the cost and time.
Completed the project in record time of 5 months.
