Project: Vessel Management System Description: Enabling coastal as a outbound and inbound channel for various declarations Responsibilities: As senior software QA engineer involved in the end to end testing activities.
Analyze and understand business requirements and clarify doubts with SA/BA.
Prepare High level test scenarios and Estimates
Prepare Low level test design
Involve in Self review and Peer review for the test deliverable
Maintain Traceability matrix for requirements/test scenarios/test cases)
Identify test data and prepare or make ready for test execution
Execute various levels of testing (Sanity, SIT, UAT, Regression)
Identify defects, report retest, close, reopen
Execute regression testing for each build deployment
Create/Implement/Improve regression test scripts using selenium automation tool
Send daily/Weekly status reports to higher management
Prepare documents for the high level application overview and issues faced.

Participate in review meetings and maintain clarification logs for business requirements reviews and updates.
Prepare High level test scenarios and Estimates
Prepare Low level test design
Involve in Self review and Peer review for the test deliverable
Maintain Traceability matrix for requirements/test scenarios/test cases)
Identify test data and prepare and make ready for test execution
Execute various levels of testing (Sanity, SIT, UAT, Regression)
Identify defects and report and get them retest once the defect is fixed by development team
Execute regression testing for each build deployment
Create regression test scripts using selenium automation tool
Record test results for various testing and compare with business requirements.
Send daily/Weekly status reports to higher management

Experience in the area of Software testing with BFS domain including Retail/Corporate banking, Investment banking and credit cards.
Experience in TCS BaNCS product testing (Payments, Direct Debits, Checks, Risk management, Acct management, Reporting and Pricing, Custody services).
Experienced in Regression and Functional Testing, Black Box, Positive, Negative, Data-driven, Unit, GUI, Integration, System, Front-End and Back-End Testing, Performance Testing, Sanity, Smoke, System Testing and UAT.
Developed reports for requirement such as pay generation, service history, balance sheet as
per the customer specified format.
Experience at a Tester within a Waterfall Model, V-Model and Agile methodology software development processes .
Expertise in validation and testing of Client-Server and Web-Based Applications in different environments.
Experience in understanding the Customer Requirements and deriving the Test Scenarios/Conditions based on the Requirements.
Involved in requirements gathering, test design and defects reporting and analysis.
Experience in working with web services and xml commands using SOAP UI tool.
Knowledge in generating the automation test scripts using Quick Test Pro 11.0.
Experience in test management tools HP QC, ALM.
Involved in creating Risk Matrix, Test Matrix and Traceability Matrix and performed Gap Analysis.
Good Documentation and Process Management skills with an ability to effectively understand the business requirements to develop a quality product.
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Good team player with the ability to lead aid management and work independently in a timely sensitive environment.
