Assisting Network/Database Administrator in Deployment, Maintenance, Trouble-shooting of the Network & the Network components of Kashmir Plan House
o Monitoring Network Traffic and Data Usage over P&DD network on daily basis
o Installation of Windows Server 2008 Active Directory/DNS server and monitoring of Web traffic using DNS server
o Assisting in Making of Annual Development Program from the ADP software.

o Deployment of Linux servers in the IPv4/IPv6 Testbed including Linux(Fedora) based DNS server, Linux Clients, Linux(Fedora) Based Virtual GNS3 Network & Linux(Fedora) based Streaming servers
o Deployment of Site to Site VPNs
o Assisting implementation of different Transition mechanisms for IPv6 to work with IPv4
o Evaluation of latest developments and research related to transition Mechanisms for IPv6
o Implementing and testing of different multicast, transition and QoS protocols on Cisco/open source routers/switches
o Commissioning/Installation/Configurations of Cisco routers and switches & updating Cisco IoS using TFTP according to the required features
o Evaluating the performance of Multicast, QoS, and Transition mechanisms for IPv6
o Testing of multicast applications from Windows/Linux/Android Clients over the hybrid network
o Documentation and reporting
o Coordination, Logistics, Procurement, Reporting
o Keeping all the files/folders/forms/documents/official correspondences under high confidentiality and not sharing with any unauthorized person
o Attribution and maintenance of office equipment and all IT (Networks/Database) related issues.
o Compile and disseminate the information/documents on project activities as required including BOQs
o Correspondence with vendor
o Installation, Commissioning and Configuration of IT related equipment (Routers, Switches, media gateways etc.) for IT related projects
o Visiting sites frequently for maintaining work progress and equipment inventory
