Designation: - Acting Shift Superviser & DCS Operator

Acting Shift Supervisor & DCS Operator :

• Responsible for Unit in rotating shift duty & to take necessary action at the time of Emergency.
Manpower handling in the shift
• Ensure safe operating and maintenance practice in the field and DCS.
• Achieving production target & product quality by spearheading plant operations through DCS (SIEMENS SIMATIC PCS 7) as per production plan

Hydrogen Unit
Proficiency: Hydrogen generation, Catalytic Reforming of Naphtha vapour, Desulphurizing, Hydrotreating, Shift Conversion, Hydrogen Purification System (PSA)

Key Responsibilities:
•Responsible to maintain the plant process profile/ parameter’s as per the guidelines and carry out the necessary action on panel to meet the process parameter and product quality.
•looking after all the section like Feed compression, Reactor section, Reformer section, PSA section and Hydrogen compression section
•To handle the plant emergency from panel and also to carry out emergency plant shut-down and normal start-up of the unit.
•To maintain the communication with the down-stream units and tank-farm units for the any upset or change in the supply or receiving of material and also regarding its quality.
•To maintain the record/log-book for the important panel reading and jobs carried out.
•Responsible for starting up and shutting down plant operations under normal conditions as well as under emergency conditions.
•Troubleshoots and diagnose process upsets in process units, systems and equipments.
•Responsible for reporting abnormal and unusual conditions that develop during the daily work schedule with recommendations for new approaches.
•Responsible for the overseeing and daily integrity of all operational equipment for the safety of all employees and neighboring communities where and when they apply.
•Reports equipment malfunctions directly to the Production Supervisor
•Conducts hands-on training and competence assessments on new CCR operators according to CA&A system

Equipment Handled:

•Chiller System (Ammonia & R23 Screw chiller compressors, separators, plate type heat exchangers)
•Hydrogen Reciprocating & Centrifugal Compressors
•Distillation Column, Absorption column, PSA Adsorption system
•Centrifugal Pumps

Proficiency Crude oil Distillation (CDU&VDU), LPG Splitter, LPG Stabilizer, Sour Water Stripper, Amine Recovery, Flare, Knockout drum, steam Jet ejector, Balanced Draft Fired Heaters

•Engaged in start-up of Refinery, Flare and PSV Systems
•Led end-to-end operations & troubleshooting of Pre-heat Trains & Heaters, Crude Distillation Column & Pumps, Vacuum Distillation Column/ Steam Ejectors & Pumps and Naphtha Stabilizer, Naphtha Splitter & LPG Pumps
•Managed lining-out of Fractionators, Reactors, Fired Heater, Pumps, Compressors and Heat Exchangers
•Worked on CCBD, CBD, CRWS & OWS System In-plant (Blow Down Systems)
•Carry out field activities like (1) trouble shooting pump cavitation, (2) Record all the field parameters in log book, report to the panel and take necessary actions to the abnormal parameters (3) In Emergencies condition report to panel and shift in charge and taking necessary step to avoid incident, (4) Maintenance Work Preparation, (5) coordinate Operations Housekeeping, (6) Lead the shift
•Changeover of pumps (Centrifugal and reciprocating) and compressor change over And Handled emergency of plant.
•Furnace operation Fuel gas Balanced Draft (Hydrogen Furnace)
•Taking regular training of safety and fire fighting
•Minimizes potential accident by understanding and observing safe work practice in all activities.
•Monitor Sampling schedule whenever necessary.
•Ensuring adherence to ISO 9001, ISO 14001 & OHSAS 18001 standards
