Planning the project after receipt of work instructions, analysing the relevant drawings, managing materials and allocating appropriate manpower for project.
Direct queries and concerns to the client and other respective departments to get approvals.
Analyse project schedules and required timeline as per project plan and specifications and sequence the project elements accordingly.
Monitoring the progress of the project to take preventive or corrective actions if required.
Closely monitoring the productivity of welding workshop and the site to finish the task within given timeline.
Review the project work time to time to achieve the deadlines and handover the project to client as pre schedule.
Perform pressure testing that includes pneumatic testing / hydro test on all the piping systems.
Maintain the highest quality by coordinating with quality team and client for time to time inspection.
Updating progress of work to the higher management and client on daily basis.
Attending progress meeting with client on weekly basis.
Assisting senior management in daily activities viz. acquiring manpower, preparing tracker of comparison sheets, fulfilling client requests, etc.
Planning the installation of piping and equipment post instruction from senior management.
Properly studying the relevant drawings, identifying the required materials and allocating the works to subcontractor.
Providing the material to subcontractor to execute the project and monitoring the progress on timely basis.
Completing the piping fabrication, construction, commissioning and start up of Process Cooling Towers, inspection and insulation of high temperature oil piping of hot oil generation unit, chilled water and chilled brine screw chillers.
Inspecting of the piping and equipment’s like reactors, tanks, heat exchangers, chillers and cooling towers.
Monitoring the breakdown and managing preventive repair of tanks/reactors MS/GL, SS304/316, Heat Exchangers and all types of pumps and pipeline failures.
Assisting OEM during the initial start up of the equipment’s, providing required material and resources.
Initiating preventive maintenance of all equipment’s for smooth and efficient running of plants.
Finalising various systems of piping projects like drainage systems, tanks filling and overflow lines, drain lines, oil lines, steam lines, etc.
Properly studying piping drawings and specifications of the vessel.
Identifying the required material and handing over to the subcontractor to execute the piping fabrication and installation.
Continuously monitoring the subcontractor performance and progress.
Identifying any obstructions in piping and sending drawings for modifications if required.
Sending fabricated piping for internal coating.
Performing pressure testing of all piping systems.
Conducting quality check after completion of piping installation.
Handing over the vessel to the owner after successful trails.
Reporting daily progress and successful completion of projects to higher management.
Making proper planning to execute the piping fabrication after receipt of instruction from client.
Allocating works to manpower for different locations.
Executing the piping material shifting, fabrication, installation and hydro testing the piping.
Working to achieve the completion date of project to handover to client as planned.
Distributing the wages of the manpower.
Making arrangement of welfare facilities for manpower for projects in remote locations.
Submitting of bills at end of months to clients.
Managing costs to increase profits.
Monitoring individual performance of manpower.
Reporting all activities being performed to higher management.
Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Egineering
