Ensuring tax compliance by preparing and filing returns for Income Tax, Withholding Tax and VAT in co-ordination with Tax consultant
Co-ordination with internal and external auditors and ensuring timely completion of audits.
Co-ordination with Corporate Legal team and local Law firm to conclude disputes and cases on time.
Carried out financial planning & Analysis of 5 GCG units. Reported to Director Manager Finance (GCC) and Executive Vice President (GCC).
Ensuring that all units in GCC region completes month end closure on or before cut off in Baan ERP
Reporting of daily revenue generation and weekly performance of units
Analysis of monthly profitability segment wise (region wise and product wise) and reporting the major causes/drivers of the performance the management.
Variance analysis of monthly, quarterly, half yearly and yearly results by comparing with budget/projection and reporting the major variance with reasons
Calculation and analysis of production variances on monthly basis
Preparation of budgets/forecast for all the units in liaison with all units and departments
Assisting the EVP in presenting the monthly and quarterly results to the Board of Directors
Formulating and generating various reports based on the requirements of EVP
Continue to perform the function of Chief Accountant of Oman operations in addition to the above said functions
