The Gulf Neon Advertising - Doha is in the business of graphic designing, digital printing, engraving, signage manufacturing, installation, maintenance and the supply of corporate gift items.

Reporting to the GM my main responsibilities were: Signage and display solutions, Business development, Consultancy services, Production supervision & Quality check, Identify and source new suppliers, Vendor registration, Tendering and follow-up, Direct marketing of new business (Events) to corporate & relevant industry.

Senior Marketing Communications Officer - Oman Air (Muscat - Sultanate of Oman)
I was the main point of contact for marketing support service activations. Responsible to scrutinize, evaluate and recommend marketing proposals to the senior management’s approval. Supervised and executed global marketing campaigns of Oman Air with hands on experience in tendering, procuring & int’l media buying.

Everyday coordination with 3 appointed advertising agencies who works on different time zone, 43 sales and 43 airport offices across Oman Air network for ATL/BTL advertising, digital media activation (corporate website /social media), brand management (town offices / airports / ticketing counters/ moving vehicles), product development (FFP /Holidays /First / Business / Economy Class product), signage & visual merchandising (airport offices /lounges, sales offices, GSA’s etc), events & exhibitions (new destination launch functions, road shows, trade fairs).

Managed projects independently right from the design conceptualization till final printing, storage and distribution of annual calendars, marketing collaterals and brochures, annual financial report, loyalty program membership guides, corporate newsletters, souvenirs and corporate gifts.

I had prepared basic scope of work for tendering and finalized the tendering process of appointing ad agencies/ printing suppliers/ exhibition-stand builders that includes commercial evaluation, supplier’s assessment and creative agencies work to the Board/Executive Management approvals.

Project Executive - PromoVision (Special Assignment)
Responsible for the set-up and introduction of an electronic media called PromoVision and launch other print and outdoor media innovations such as trade publications and magazines for Oman Advertising Agency (OAA).

I had independent brief to hire the team, admin sales and market the media in Oman and UAE.
• Designed media packages to sell 15 - 60 second media spots
• Identify potential advertisers and persuade them to try this medium.
• Developed new clients via sponsorships to promote social awareness concepts as CSR initiative.
• Assist and direct production team in content development, slides and animated videos/films.
• Write scripts and storyboards for the clients and provide supervision and assistance to the technical team during breakdowns.

Deputy Manager - Oman Advertising Agency (OAA)
Joined as a Sales Executive to The Commercial/Attijari Magazine, an in-house business monthly of OAA. Later on I was moved to the client services section and finally elevated to Deputy Manager's post. My responsibilities were: managing the above mentioned special project and all services related to routine account handling of an agency which is taking briefs, interacting with studio for creative development, local and international media coordination and campaign implementation. Main job responsibilities includes: develop advertising plan for various products or services attached with our clients portfolio, ad campaigns and media optimization, contractual bookings for print & audio-visual media, produce innovative publishing products, special supplements, selling TV spots, mobile and other OOH media. Liaison with printers, suppliers, overseas media agencies. Media reporting press briefs, market research activities & event management. I was also involved in business planning and formulation of business strategies of OAA.
