Responsibilities include planning and executing tasks such as;
- - Maintenance of Reciprocating compressors, Centrifugal compressors (General Electric), Centrifugal pumps (KSB, Sulzer, Grundfos), Reciprocating Compressors (Sulzer Burckhardt), Ring Liquid Vacuum Pumps.
- Performing preventive and corrective maintenance activities for rotatory and reciprocating equipment within the plant to ensure the availability of the installed equipment for safe and reliable operation.
- To supervise a team of six to eight persons in maintenance and complete overhauling of compressors and pumps.
- To develop maintenance strategies, quality plans, standard procedures and working instructions to ensure safety and human health during maintenance activities.
- Handling of hazardous fluids during maintenance activities under guidelines of safety procedures.
- To manage spares and tools inventory for planned and emergency maintenance.
- Survey of local market for manufacturing and purchase of spares for pumps and compressors.
- Technical report writing and documentation.
Responsibilities include planning and executing tasks such as;
- - Preparation of Technical Specifications, identifying requirements and scope of work, material specifications of Piping/Ducting, Equipment specifications, BOQ preparation, layout planning, reviewing drawings and other relevant documents.
- Project planning and preparation of project time line using MS Project.
- To supervise ducting and piping installations and coordination with contractors and fabricators and to identify and rectify hurdles during installation.
- To establish contract review criteria, identify and resolve discrepancies and divergences from original proposal through the instigation of technical queries to projects/client.
- To make daily, weekly and monthly project progress reports and develop IPC’s and responding to consultant & client requests in meetings with consultant, client and vendors.
- To supervise testing and commissioning of ducts, pipes, AHU’s, Air conditioning units, cooling towers, control systems, BMS etc.
