Working as Manger. Key Responsibilities are:
• Supervising a team of Accountants and was responsible for finalizing the accounts as per the applicable accounting standards and have fair knowledge of IFRS & IAS.
• Have worked in multi-currency environment, have knowledge of accounting foreign exchange fluctuations.
• Completed onsite International Finance & Accounting projects to streamline & stabilize the company’s business processes in USA.
• Driving continuous process improvement in Finance & Accounting group, using Lean Six Sigma methodology-GB Certified & Lean 3 stars certified
• Part of new financial system Implementation-member of functional design team and lead Integration & UAT testing of Oracle R/12 & Virtual trader implementation.
• Monitor Month end close cycle and ensure all the Accounting closing activities for AP/Fixed Assets/Cash/Intercompany & GL are completed in time as per month end close calendar and report out the progress to the Head office in USA.
• Review and approve the monthly account reconciliations.
• Review and approve Vendor Payments &Employee reimbursements.
• Submit Monthly Financial statements & Cash flow analysis and cash position report to the
• Review and Submit Financial & Tax reports to the global tax group
• Prepare and publish quarterly risk management report for the investment in Joint ventures.
• Review the quarterly SEC & PBC schedules for investments, leases and for facilities & severance restructuring projects.
• Review SOX & other internal control guidelines are in place and submit the report to corporate Audit committee.
Auditing
Developing audit plans in line with the cost & time parameters.
As a team leader, monitoring the performance of members during audits.
Providing fruitful suggestions to the clients for enhancing operational efficiency.
Identifying any frauds/misrepresentations/errors at the client’s end and reporting them to the management.
Drafting an audit report based on the audit conducted and highlighting deviations.
Accounting Operations
Finalizing Balance Sheet & P&L A/c accounts for individuals, trusts, partnership firms, and corporate such as IT & Manufacturing organizations as per the Accounting Standards.
Maintaining payroll records & making appropriate adjustments for taxes, leaves etc.
Preparation of Cash flow statements,
Finance
Generating financial/MIS reports for expediting the decision making process.
Had experience in preparing the financial project for procuring long term finance and working capital finance for the companies
Direct/ Indirect Taxation
• Income Tax Audit U/s 44AB of Income Tax Audit
• Sales Tax/VAT Audit for Clients of the firm
• Estimating & Filing Income tax returns for individuals, partnership firms and companies.
• Preparing TDS returns.
• Preparation statutory returns under provisions of AP Value Added Tax Act.
• Preparing Half yearly return for Service Tax
• Liaison with Income Tax & Commercial Tax Departments
