JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Carry out daily Site inspection.
•Prepare Risk Assessments of Method Statements.
•Inspect workplaces to ensure that equipment, materials, and production processes
do not present a safety or health hazard to employees or the public.
•Monitor the safety performance of all on-site workers to ensure that all workers
on the site work safely.
•Monitor HSE during visits to sites. Formulating new safety measure as and when requires.
•Encourage and educate employees to take precautions and adhere to safety rules to protect themselves and the equipment they use from damage
•Identify and review various health and safety concerns specific to the work site and ensure construction site activities do not put non-construction site people outside of
the site at risk.
•Investigate all injuries, accidents and near misses. Identify the causes and advise on
any improvement in safety standards that need to be made
•Advice site in charge about the implementation of health safety & environment plan
in line with company policy, procedure, standards &the requirement of the project.
•Carrying out of Job Hazard Analysis (JHA)
•Preparation of incident report and follows up the documents.
•Implementation of permit to work system.
•Weekly & monthly report writing on all health and safety issues.
•Delivery of project HSE induction and other identified HSE Training
•Monitoring and reporting compliance with the project HSE Management Plan
•Assist with implementation and monitoring of project HSE Management Plan
•Conducting regular HSE inspections and participating in HSE audits
•Reporting as required, safety incidents, including near miss events, injuries, and environmental incidents and any other HSE issues
•Assisting with investigating incidents, ensuring root cause/s are identified, and
corrective actions address root cause/s
•Regularly attending Toolbox meetings and other HSE meetings
•Actively promote hazard identification, reporting and elimination or control
•Planned inspection of ladders, scaffolds, hand& power tools, lifting gears, mobile
plant and equipment, fire extinguishers, PPE and Full Body Harnesses and keep
all relevant records.
