Business Development
• Responsible for a portfolio of 62 retail distributors and 7 vendors (pumping & automation equipment), successfully meeting sales targets and ensuring adherence to safety, service & branding guidelines
• Framed and executed growth strategies for retail distributors through product launches and B2B collaborations for Non-Fuel Revenue sources such as insurance, restaurants, etc.
• Procured most applications for distributor licenses in the region, across 53 locations, through a novel lead generation process involving localized marketing campaigns & support centres to ease the application process

• Successfully retained market share for petrol in the region, while growing diesel market share by 0.5%, in the backdrop of a shrinking total market size
• Doubled the loyalty rewards transaction share, from 4% to 8%, through focus on awareness by prominent promotion placements and improving accessibility of sign-up
• Recognised for best audio-visual presentation of best practices in retail sales, at regional level, subsequently featured in a nation-wide knowledge sharing program for retail distributors
Financial Analysis and Reporting
• Proactively identified and developed proposals for capex investment of 150K $ in renovation of strategically located high volume outlets, to maintain competitive advantage
• Performed credit due diligence of channel partners for extension of supplier credit as working capital support, in line with extant policy, to grow the business
• Maintained a central database of key metrics for retail outlets such as stock reconciliation, equipment downtime statistics & transaction analysis etc. to generate required MIS reports for senior management
Studied the target market to identify unmet needs and pain points of customers, and segment the market
* Analyzed the competitive landscape and compared capabilities of existing product with offerings of competitors
* Developed a ‘Hygiene’ model for the product, and provided different options to reposition the product
Studied the key activities of maintenance department in the functioning of a thermal power plant
